As far as you are aware :P

Anyway do you have evidence Khazard knew of the horn or it's name? Remember he is the youngest of the Mahjarrat. He also only occupied the fortress for a certain period and no longer does. Really there's a lot of factors going into this.

When was it places in the fortress?
Why was it placed there?

I will point out humans made a name for it so they presumably seen it's power at Ghorrock considering the amount of dragons there.

That would certainly be hilarious too. I suppose the Zamorakians may have preferred a fair fight over that, while using words like that could be considered cheating. Still, the Ritual is no place to waste magical energy on something that could be done with just a word.

I suppose the "Evil Creator God" could have left his Elder Artifact on Gielinor, then told the Mahjarrat about it. That'd be antagonistic: telling them about a powerful weapon that could even kill/make a god, then putting it away on the shelf so none of them could have it.

I'm not saying that this horn is definitely an Elder Artifact (it's undeniably an artifact of some kind). Just that it can't yet be ruled out as a potential one. Its powerful name could be a hint as to its nature. I kind of doubt it's an obscenity, though it is a possibility.

^ Sure, they're such a bunch of good, honourable guys.

You call what I said hilarious then proceed to say their god told them about something on a different world that just so happened one of its gods brought them here?

Does it sound likely to You?

And why wouldn't any of them come to claim it?

@Balustan, I don't see why the amount of dragons would have anything to do with humans giving it a name? But yeah it was probably then, seeing it was in some icy place.

I'm *** antagonizing you, Baxtorian. I didn't mean the "hilarious" comment in acondescending way. I meant to say I found the idea of Azzanadra being horrified by coarse language hilarious. It gave me an amusing mental image. I wasn't saying it was amusing that you would think so. I apologize if I've rubbed you the wrong way.

I never said the Mahjarrat were all good guys. Still, for the only source we have for this god's nature is Wahisietel during Tale of the Muspah. The legend of the Muspah and Wahisietel's opinion are all we have to go on. And in that, he's portrayed as antagonistic. Maybe he's not such a horrible guy, but we don't know enough about him to say yet.

Cracking thread, guys. Thought I'd check in to see what you consider to be Elder Artefacts!

As far as we at Jamflex are concerned, the following have been confirmed as Elder Artefacts:
- Stone of Jas
- Staff of Armadyl
- The Elder Kiln (including the TokHaar)
- Guthix's sparking sword
- Saradomin's crown

And we've hinted that a horn is also one of the Elder Twelve. That's half of them! We're hoping to explore the others soon, so expect this thread to grow!

I posted this on the previous page:
Original message details are unavailable.
I reckon Bandos' Holy Mace that he talks about could be one (or at least a very powerful weapon if not one of the 12).

In the Origins of Gielinor YouTube video we see a picture in which Saradomin is fighting what appears to be Bandos. Saradomin is wielding quite a hefty, golden mace that seems to be brimming with power. Perhaps the outcome of the battle could have been Bandos emerging victorious and claiming the mace we see as his own.

At the very least I believe that is Bandos' Holy Mace. Whether it is an Elder Artefact, however, remains to be seen.

It seemed to be somewhat hidden by all the other posts so I thought I'd repost it. Perhaps the mace was used by the TokHaar to carve mountains or something?
