Page 18 Zaros looks like a cross between Salad Fingers and American football gear.
I can just imagine it now...
*Zaros standing at Senntisten altar, running his hand along the top*
Zaros: Azzanadra...
Azzanadra: Yes? ... M-my lord?
Zaros: ...I like this altar... I like to touch it.. the feeling of it's smooth stone surface against my fingers... it's almost ********...!
Azzanadra: ...Yea-yeah... it is nice isn't it?

Why is Zaros letting his followers die...?
They're tools. They fight so he doesn't have to.
That's a waste of power... and lives. He could just zamo-zap Zamorak back, but he decides to send his followers to die?
In a very meaningful way they
are
his power.

Please elaborate?
Now I can't speak for Mod Jack but I think its like this...
He feels like he owns them the same way you feel about armor, you feel as if its job is to protect you, you don't sacrifice yourself to keep your armor from being scratched, similarly Zaros doesn't put himself in harms way to keep his mortals alive. So in the same way your armor is an extent of your power to protect yourself, Zaros feels mortals are an extent of his power to protect himself
That explanation was really well written and cleared up a question I was going to ask.
"If you believe you can distance yourself from the harm you cause, you're deluding yourself. You're not some mindless tool. You're accountable. Your actions will catch up with you eventually." -Jedi Master Jun Seros; Swtor Bounty Hunter storyline.
