This is so amazingly written and I can't say there's an idea I don't like. I especially love the minigame room idea and the cut scene viewer in the Quest Hall.

I would like to add two things I would also love to see in the POH.

1. A quest item box in the Quest Hall. This would be a place you can store items that you save that are only obtainable through quests and after those quests you have no way of obtaining them again. Ex. Carnillian Armour, Grail Bell, The necklace from Murder Mystery, Blurite sword and so many others. Some of us love to collect these items but I feel they'd be better stored in our houses than the bank. Or better yet maybe a wardrobe people can see into to see all of the items you've collected ^_^

2. POH Aquariums. These are already in rs3 and I ending up leaving rs3 shortly after the release of them but they were so cool. I loved being able to collect all those different fish in my aquarium and swimming in it was pretty cool too :D

I support this very very much. For animal rugs, I think it should require a standard (non-tatty) pelt of the relevant big cat, and go in the normal rug slots of bedrooms and sitting rooms. Alternatively, make the stair space and rug space two separate, overlapping spaces. Top 1% bestselling Dungeons and Dragons game designer

I have 99 Construction and a very expensive POH and i've always thought that the POH upgrades over the last months have been really nice. These ideas you're suggesting are straight up really well done and I would love to see them in game.

Thanks for this! Hoping this will be polled or atleast discussed further in the future!

Support!

I love all these ideas - particularly the animal rug one.

I think the opulent rug (and more basic ones) make their rooms look much more finished and stylised. It would be good if there were rug hotspots in more of the rooms in POHs.

You could have more options of rugs to build - different styles for quest / challenge unlockable areas of the game - e.g. Fremminik, Elven, Volcanic, Fairy, Dwarfen, Khorend Houses...

Any way that makes the POH more customisable to reflect each player's preferences and show off their adventures is good!

What's this? a well written suggestion thread for construction that accepts new ideas. Perfect! just what I was looking for.

Liking all the ideas so far but something I've been thinking about latly is how boring most poh dungeons are and mostly just serve as pk slaughter basments, wich is all good and fine but something to make the beating of the dungeon actually a reason to go there very lacking.

Treasure chest in the treasure room currently hold a laughable 1.5k max while just the room itself cost 250k to build.

Scaling the amount of coins with the tiers of chest from wooden box up to the magic treasure chest seems so obvious I dont really get why it wasnt made that way from the start.
So my suggestion would be to increase it by tiers up to alteast 1m, with added warning offcourse that the gp may be lost if a challanger beats your dungon.

As for the magic chest there's nothing really magical about it so I suggest that after you loot it it would teleport the looter back to the oubliette.

And now that we have made the prize worth reaching for lets make the path there harder aswell. Currently all the guards you can employ only use melee with the exeption of the steel and rune dragon in the treasure room so here i simply like to see some magic based and range based guards to keep players from just keeping protect from melee on.

The spike trap I'd love to see the ablity to poison it or even use a magic/tanzanite fang on it to give a chance of inflicting venom.

And lastly as it is your dungeon adding a toggle to the lever in the throne room to make your guards unaggresive towards you while still attacking all invaders.

Thx for reading and hoping this small hijacking doesn't annoy op too much.

1. Good idea, I'll add it.

2. I also love aquariums but the RS3 implementation is probably not really going to work in the OS system. That said, who knows, something similar might happen. :O

Thanks! I'd be a supporter of the latter, if technically feasible.

Gods that would be brilliant. In addition to portraits etc., you could purchase various fancy rugs from Sir Renitee given that you've completed the appropriate quests. I'll add this, good idea!
