1) Introduction:

Welcome to this thread, I am a "7 year" player owned house host and I have opend this forum post to discuss some issues within the player owned house community and to suggest some ideas regarding the current state of world 330.

Please keep all topics on point with poh hosting, thanks.

2) Incense burner bots:

Hosts will use an incense burner bot on a proxy chain on alt account to simultaneously,
light burners as they cannot keep up with the legitmet players who host long hours.

These bots are not only just unfair for others who want to host but are also unfair,
for the players who use the hosts altar as they are losing xp as the bots, are not fully reliable.

Anyone who is telling you that a friend is lighting the incense, or they are not botting incense is Reverse Psychology, I would like you to understand .. how one can bot and have friends lighting their burners for over 3 years in the same time intervals and movement as shown in most of the videos were these bots were exposed.

Fix: The burners need a time interval for how many times an alt account can touch the burners,
or maybe allow the host to use the butler to the light the burners or why not host only burners.

Fix: Change how many times "a friend" or so called "bot" can light incense burners lets say limit is 500 times a day. 3) Advertising board rigging:

Users are resorting to using accounts over level 50 construction to add to the board,
then remove them, resulting in the host whos doing it to remain on top of the board.

By adding around 5 accounts will give you a 50 percent chance of being on top of,
the housing advertising board.

As soon as one hosts get top, a host will then either add or remove an account to knock,
the person of top resulting in unfair game play as all traffic goes to first on the board.

So instead we have to resort to using an auto typer, hense the advertising board acomplishing,
nothing but toxicity and cancer.

This has become unfair on lower hosts who want to host and hosts who host constantly.

Fix: Raise the level that you can add to the board to 75 as this is the only time you can host an altar anyway. Took the red pill and the blue pill, spit 'em both in the garbage!, Being woke used to mean you understood you're a target! And now it's having two good legs and never taking a step forward!

4) Tip jar:

Afking money is by far the down side of poh hosting, this causes for a mass uproar of,
toxic behaviour including botting and advertising board rigging.

When there is this much money at play people should be fully working for it and not using, sly tactics to pull one over on other hosts within the community.

Fix: Either remove tip jar or make a new currency. Took the red pill and the blue pill, spit 'em both in the garbage!, Being woke used to mean you understood you're a target! And now it's having two good legs and never taking a step forward!

5) Kick option:

When you ban a player from poh, it should automatically kick the user there,
is a current issue where players can stand upon a crowd in the altar and cannot be kicked,
due to the fact that their name will not show on screen as theirs to many names showing,
and also players can run around behind a wall resulting in them not being kicked.

Players can also exploit a bug where they can become unkickable from the house, this is,
done by:

- Sitting on a chair.
- Right click following.
- Eating fast.
- Then spamming the side of the combat magic barrier room/

Due to the toxicity in world 330 this should be a main priority to reduce trolling.

Fix: Allow people to be banned when adding them to the block list, so they get kicked out same time. Took the red pill and the blue pill, spit 'em both in the garbage!, Being woke used to mean you understood you're a target! And now it's having two good legs and never taking a step forward!

6) Autochat on hosting accounts:

Players use auto chatting tool but allows hosts to stay auto logged in, making the time that people host yet again unfair for others, this seems to be something which has still not been combatted.

I can tell they are using "3rd party autotypers" how I know is, if a player has their public on auto chat they will see the "built" in auto chat, if a player has their public set to on this does not show the "built in autochat"..

There for any spam that is comming in while the public is set to on is actually a "3rd party auto typer".. thats not conspiracy either, try it yourself.

Fix: A pmod needs to sweep though 330 and have permission to mute these ads. Took the red pill and the blue pill, spit 'em both in the garbage!, Being woke used to mean you understood you're a target! And now it's having two good legs and never taking a step forward!

7) Harassment/Abuse:

Theres a lot of impersonation of usernames, lies, allogations and other hosts will use alts in other houses to troll, I never ever use alts at all for others houses.

This toxicty can spread out to social media and can make a person feel angry or attacked, money does bad things regardless if its in game or real life and this is an action that jagex must look more into.

We need more moderation in world 330, due to the nature of major trolls that want money and fame.

These trolls are going after anyone I guess that is not in there collected clan/group and like to dominate world 330 and it should not be happening. 8) Other suggestions/changes:

Mythic cape:

The mythic cape should be added to the south wall in quest room, reason for this is, if players want a coin stack in achievemnt room, then they cant use cape rack, Also hosts use glorys in the quest hall in order to bone run as the tiles are not, to far away compared to that of the jewellery box, it also does not make sense making 2 quest halls for this.

World 465 and 512 host world:

Both should be scraped as they have no use, no one goes to them, make the housing world on world 331 as its the next world down from 330 and it was also used on rs3, so players joining from rs3 will click world 331, it just makes logical sense and it helps us getting away from 330 botting. 9) The final message:

Its clear that jagex have lost all control on bots or any rule breaking in the game and this has been noticed by so many people, it does not matter what the issue is or what bot it is, its not being solved.

Player owned houses are just one prime example of why this game has gone sour. Took the red pill and the blue pill, spit 'em both in the garbage!, Being woke used to mean you understood you're a target! And now it's having two good legs and never taking a step forward!

I will add to this document when I feel like I need to add to it regarding world 330 issues.

Just like to say it's Not a P-Mods job or postion to report and mute any suspects on request. If they are around then they can follow their Guidelines. They can be player reported in game under Macroing too.

Now if someone is using ingame auto chat that too can't be reported. It's added to the game by Jagex and supported by them.

But if you suspect they are using an Aoto Typer that can be reported for 2 things. 1 Macroing. 2 Disruptive Behaviour if it's done every 2-3 seconds or so.

To combat this issue though Jagex gave us ALL an Ignore list. This does come in very handy by adding disruptive people to said list. They won't pester you again once added.

I do fully understand what you are trying to do here. It was the same on RS3 many years ago when we had the same issue of mass spamming. Sadly nothign was done at that time and it settled down.
