Further, the removal of the board could have merit but would ultimately have to be replaced with something as it could make it difficult for players who need an open PoH to know who they can join. Thus, perhaps improving upon the current system would be better than remaking the wheel, if that makes sense.[/quote]
I agree, however if they can't make a system that shows how long they've been hosting past the forced 6 hour log, then it would just be somewhat pointless.
Also the only reason i say remove the board is because jagex needs a way to let the players decide whos house to go into, not just clicking the top name on someone.
Yes, they do have the option to still do so, but it seems kinda forced to the top.
as for the tip jar, I haven't noticed much of a difference before or after. But making burners host only would force host to be in the house rather than afk at the GE or elsewhere --
to add on top of this I only have this view because when I host sporadically, I normally do drop parties with most if not all the tip jar, but that's also my personal choice which could just skew my point of view on things.
Most of the time if someone donates to me it's in the form of trout or marrentils (which yes i could sell, but i collect these) Via trade, mostly friends i've made along the way. There's one person i met that makes me Chili con Carne to collect and it's the coolest thing ever.. especially since they have to hand make it.
i like to light on an alt which a friend lets me use while i help others with the ToB quests sometimes but I don't mind not being able to do that.
also sorry @rabbitmeds i couldn't quote you my phone is being sketchy.
