As I've said, I don't support the rudeness or trolling from either side here. Y'all have been doing it too, accusing and naming people which is not the topic --the topic is suggested changes.
I will reiterate, as have the mods: there is an Ignore button in game, a Report button, and a way to tell Jagex about suspected bots. They will confirm whether they are bots, that is not up to y'all. And surely I wouldn't want drastic changes to a great early/mid game aspect of the game without thorough investigation.
"The word is out", as johnor has said lit, he has been pushing these allegations for over 3 years. The word has been out.
What we should focus on is counterpoints to my list above for why these suggestions wouldn't solve y'all's lack of traffic, why these suggestions would complicate early game needs and frustrate new players (who are hard enough to get into this game), and why a niche group of niche players' desire for more renown and a "level playing field" within that niche should warrant drastic changes to an established system, one of the few I don't hear most players complain about (as opposed to dead content, wc/rc tho gotr and forestry are meant as solutions to that, wildy, etc the many things like barb assault and the brewing minigames that need/needed revivals).
I think that the current options y'all have are valid: report harassment (it's not harassment tho, when you engage in drama too, so use that Ignore button right after!), Go into others houses to report--not to accuse or engage in drama, and report all suspected bots. Those are the avenues we already have available, and drastic changes to the poh system negatively affects the majority of this niche host community, new and midgame players now unable to get early game money helping out and having to sift through a list of non-established/new/different hosts, and wouldn't solve the familiarity factor that is the biggest piece to y'all's lack of traffic
