Despite it being a negative post about Summoning, a lot of the comments are very pro-Summoning and raise many good points in its favor.

It seems it has a lot more support than we thought it did. Perhaps it would actually do quite well in a poll.

Im very conflicted about this honestly. I liked how summoning added different ways to make money and added a lot of value to NPC's and items that didnt really have any before the introduction of it. If it came to a vote id probably say close my eyes and hit yes

Summoning was fun, and it was helpful, but it gave a MASSIVE boost to those looking to PVP or PVE. If we reintroduce summoning, it should not at all be what it was in RS3. Pack Yaks, while arguably the best summoning creature you could ever want, gave you a greatly increased inventory, and coupled with the half dozen other items we have that already help out your inventory space, it would be a terrible edition. IMO only the stat boosters were even close to balanced.

tl;dr: Summoning OP, pls nerf. But by all means, add.

You should check out my rework on page 20.

As for Pack Yak, there was someone who brought up a legitimate good point on Reddit about it. Because Altscape is now a thing, Pack Yak wouldn't change a thing because its functionality is already in the game, in a way. It's something that people already do and its very widespread.

Pack Yak would only create an official method of a feature that already exists within the game and would ultimately change nothing.
