A lack of interest in starting what old school has become over again (FSW) does NOT offer ANY evidence of how many would or would not be interested in vanilla servers (assuming 'vanilla' in this case means old school as it was on launch).
On the contrary.. what it actually demonstrates is that there simply isn't interest in new players (or lapsed ones) returning to what jagex has done to the game.
Don't lump the 2 together tho.. it's a different beast.
Old school as it was on launch... with no updates (like it was supposed to be based on the votes to bring it to life) would interest an entirely different group of peeps than starting over on.. this thing they're calling old school.
