Get rid of all random events and add captchas. Or you can even use the random event rewards if you get the captcha right. There is no way for a bot to solve a captcha. It is simply impossible. E-mail and countless other websites use this to get rid of botting and auto account creation. You can even make the captchas less frequent to the players. Many players are effected negatively by the current randoms and how frequent they are. If you die and run back for your non tradeables and get a random they are gone. That is up to 15 hours of work lost from a random. Also people training in places where they can't leave like monkey skeletons loose items from the old man force dropping an item to make space for the mystery box. Also they have to run away from chickens and other randoms causing alot of annoyance. If you got rid of randoms and added captchas then there would be more bots being banned and less players being annoyed by randoms to help prevent bots. But it always annoyes alot of players.

e all hate waiting 7 seconds per 1%, right? There's alot of chairs, benches, and stools in runescape RIGHT? Well, what if Jagex updated all the benches and chairs so you sit in them and restore run energy!

It wouldn't take much coding to do, and Jagex could recycle the animation for sitting in Player owned houses chairs and benches, and they could do it without adding to the game interface! Players can hang around the pubs and bars of runescape so they can socialize while sitting and drinking a mug of Asgarnian ale! The idea is that existing chairs and benches (game objects) by recoded to support sitting and the rate of run energy restored is boosted to where 1% = 2 Seconds, maybe?

Although two concerns still remain: What about agility? What about Super restore potions? Well, maybe if your agility were better you wouldn't need to sit as often and sometimes there won't be a chair to sit on to rest (like in the wilderness, or agility courses.) And that's where the potions come in.

Another thing: Just like in player owned houses players might be able to 'steal' the benches and chairs upon logging out in one. Hopefully jagex could work around that (if this happens! pray it will!)

It seems that people are now getting on the topic of "people who want 07 to remain 07 forever" and "people who want 07 to keep getting a few updates and grow". What could solve this is creating yet another runescape set of servers! or just split the 07 ones in half because there are so many worlds practically empty. 1 set of servers has 07 in all its 07 glory and the other set of servers has 07 rs continuing on the path WITHOUT EVER BECOMING EOC AGAIN, what would rs be without all those graphical updates and GE the way it is, without dunge and all those wonderful items that come with that "skill". Mainly without EOC, RS3, whatever you want to call it, i'd love to see how rs would have gone, we have that chance once more.

i vote for the least amount voted for, or I vote no. u kaap doing more modern updates. wtf. what about summoning. in my opinion there is only one reason to fight is to lvl summoning. eventually people will be close to 99 slayer, then in a year or more u might put summoning on. then now others have waisted there combat by doing just slayer exc. and in early 2008 like I believe early February it came out. hands down my favorite skill is summoning. and do not tell me to go to evolution of crap- for 1 I have 99 summoning there and only 132/138 combat. with 99 mage and prayer.plus I wont play eoc because u stand around fighting like u have a stick up your bumb. there is only 1 thing I like to do with evolution of crap is duel wielding weapons. in my opinion that has been the last update made in 3 years worth anything.
