My idea is basically a further add on to the differing accounts you can start while on tutorial island by speaking to Adam, Juan or Paul. We know these modes as Ironman, Hardcore Ironman and Ultimate Ironman.

My suggestion is to add a double xp account, much like how you have grey, white and browny/copper badges in chat for Ironmen, you'd have a similar x2 in chat for these players, much like the x2 in Nazi Zombies(CallofDuty) with a small x n big 2.


The second part to this suggestion is quests for balancing reasons I also suggest that for all x2 players quests also give double the xp they'd previously award on a normal/Im account. (optional although like I said for balance I'd prefer this to be put in too)

So finally an accompanying hi score leaderboard strictly for x2 players would also be released, a separate leaderboard, the leaderboard for all accounts would not display x2 accounts and I also have an idea for another NPC alongside Juan, Paul and Adam called Number2 (an old serious man with an eyepatch) Austin Powers reference.




Obviously once you go x2 there's no going back to a normal account and the basis of this idea is to bring older & newer players to the game and existing players like myself who don't quite have the time or patience to level 2 or even every skill to 99. I have nothing against the game I love the grind of it and it's a super addictive game that keeps me coming back.

The hell puppy pet comes with one head, unlike Cerberus. You never gain anything from gaining a pet you already have.. I suggest if you recieve the hell puppy for a second time, it adds a second head to the pet. Same thing goes for a third time recieving a pet. This could also possibly be reworked into the Hydra. Another suggestion is recieving both grotesque guardians twice, you could have the ability to have both following you. This helps motivate players after recieving pets from certain bosses.

Any thoughts about being able to use god blessings, or some other god themed item to "re-color" your pet cat?

I rarely see people with their cats following them, and god blessing prices are so low that they could use an item sink to boost their value a little? My name is a mountain.

Would it ever be within the realm of possibility to see the Stronghold of Player Safety, the Fist of Guthix, and/or the Runecrafting minigame in their original locations added to OSRS (March, April, and August 2008 updates respectively)?

There is a strong case to say that OSRS was within it's final chapters after all of these were implemented. Having always played f2p, I fondly remember these inclusions as the peak of the years I spent playing Runescape.

Being a huge part of that chapter in Runescape's life, they would definitely promote more longevity and interest towards the game for all players within the community; especially f2p players who lack many meaningful and fun ways to play OSRS.

One last QoL inclusion I would like to see would be the much favoured Cabbage Ring to teleport to the patch near Draynor.

I'm very much enjoying the current preservation of OSRS, but seeing these changes would be incredible. PretttyOdd

Would it be possible to allow players to change the color of their prospector helmet to a grey at the motherload mine for a cost of 300 Golden Nuggets, or at the mining guild for around 200 unidentified minerals? This way it could be made to match the rest of the prospector set as well as the skill cape.

I think some chainmail cloaks would be a cool concept. Smithable up to rune and dragon chainmail cloaks as a drop from either a new monster or a way to revive an old one. It would also open the possibility of trimmed versions from clue scrolls. I think they should be purely for melee/ranged defence like the metal armour is. It could serve as a BiS defence cape item. Maybe scaling from Bronze from around +2 or 3 and making it up to Dragon +20 to 25.

Hi Jagex. I love OSRS and have been playing for about 13 years. This is my first post. I have 3 suggestions that would be great additions to the game.

First and most importantly, the Cat pet needs to be updated . I love the feature and use it constantly. However it is bad that the only thing I can say to my cat basically once he has grown up is " Hey fatty " and then he hisses at me. I understand the nostalgia element to it, but really there's no reason we can't keep that one too. There needs to be at least one more dialog box or like 5 options like most NPC's. I know this is a bit of a long shot, but it would be nice to have up to 2 cats so my cat has a friend and doesn't get lonely.

Next, I and everyone I've talked to want sitting re-added to the game . I understand there is the lunar spell, but that doesn't cut it. There used to be AWESOME bards that would play music and you could sit and regen run energy. As a musician, I LOVED that and was really disappointed that one of the only musical things in the game was taken out. Anyway the main point with this, as I know bards are a long shot too; is that being able to sit is almost a requirement for roleplay . We can't even sit around the campfire out in the woods! It would be such a nice feature, just think of all the people sitting around chatting in the Varrock Square, Lumbridge and GE. It would be really cozy, heartwarming and social. I would also like to importantly add, it does not need to regen run , its just for Roleplay.

Lastly, I think Marriages between players needs to be made an official update. Gay marriage obviously needs to be allowed as well. A diamond ring, a priest, and an altar could be requirements. As in real life divorce needs to be an option as well if things don't work out in the land of Gielinor.
