Kingdom of Miscellania idea for Oldschool Runescape

When the kingdom is left and approval is not up-kept, after a certain point of disapproval from the subjects of Miscellania, not only will they collect not as much to no resources, they will begin to express their concerns by rioting to the only two people who are in Miscellania/Etceteria (if royal trouble is completed for the utilization of Etceteria's resources) the old king whom still resides in the castle (and the queen upon completion of royal trouble) causing one the other or both to go into a feud with each-other, causing them to once again divide the kingdoms. Causing the player to fix the issues with the two kingdoms as in the quest, or for the resource areas to fall into disrepair causing the players to have to tend to the areas before once again being able to utilize them. in this, you will then have to sort out the troubles once again to be able to regain approval and have the subjects of Miscellania again begin collecting resources for you. hopefully this will help players to have more motivation to up-keep their kingdom and mainly to keep them motivated to use this easy money making method. (another idea to possibly consider is each time, making the reason for the riot different, based on the actions done by the player to gain approval, rotating to different subjects with each time low approval has been reached. (Below 25%) Hopefully with this new mechanic for Miscellania, players will utilize this beneficial place more.

Another addition:
If approval is constantly kept above a percentage, lets say 75%; they will see an increase of 5-10% of collected resources. To give the players more of a reason to tend to their Kingdom.
These are all just rough ideas I had while regaining approval myself after letting mine go unattended. I am open for questions regarding this and for opinions. :)

Are all the submitted poll ideas being read? i submitted 2 QoL suggestions a few minutes ago. Did i just waste my time or does the OSRS team read these and thinks about what i suggested?

I'd appreciate an answer from a Mod.

Thanks

I would like to see a change to the effect of the torags and karils barrows set. the idea was for torags to have a 25% chance of hitting twice in the same attack and also karils could be changed to having a 25% chance of inflicting poison instead of there current effects.I think they would get more use in game since the other sets provide for useful effects.

I would love to hear others thoughts about this idea for a poll as i have already submitted this idea to jagex.

It is my personal opinion that one should only be afraid of dying due to their own error. But what can Jagex do so that these issues do not cause an unfair death of the player? You must agree that these are lame unavoidable reasons to die. This is especially the case for instances where you will lose the items on death.

But we have the ring of life right? Well yes but if you're fighting a monster that can hit more than a 9, you are pretty much screwed.

Here is my proposal. It came to me today while chinning Maniacal Monkeys. It would be some kind of item, similar to the ring of life, that will teleport you to safety. But instead of it being based off your current HP, it would be based off your in game activity. You would toggle what time limit you would like it to be set to. If you go the set amount of time without any activity, you will be teleported to safety. It would be based off the same actions that keep you logged in such as sending a message, emotes, using an item, eating, activating prayer, etc. BUT, it would not include being in combat.

For example, say you toggle it to 60 seconds. After 50 seconds of inactivity , a message that cannot be interrupted by combat would appear over your chat box. It would say "Warning! You will be teleported in 10 seconds if you do not do an action." This would serve as a reminder so that a person is not accidentally teleported only to be inconvenienced.

If we can buff Ahrim's staff then why cant we just buff the outdated Torag's hammers??

I believe torag's could have a really nice niche of being the tanky armour set but the weapons definitely need a buff.

Looking at the dps calculator for various weapons, currently torags hammers are much lower than either a d scim due to the speed of the weapons.

What I suggest for this is for each of the hammers to attack instead of it just being one attack with a speed of 5 (interval of 3.0 seconds). So it would effectively be two hits instead of the current one but the speed of the weapon would be reduced to a speed of 3 but with 2 attacks at 1.5 seconds per each hammer.

Another option is to make the hammers one handed like with the recent Ahrim's Staff update with balancing to still make the hammers just slightly worse than a whip.

What my idea for this weapon/armour set is to be, is slightly less than a whip with dragon defender but with the armour effects being their niche.

-Some ideas for the full set.

The set effect would have a 10% chance of draining a players prayer by 20% of your total hit.

Allow the set affect to have a 20% chance of stunning the opponent for 5 seconds. Would be useful for PVP and could interrupt an attack in PVE.

Torags set could deal more damage the higher your opponents crush defense. Every 5 crush DEF would be 1% more damage. Capping at 300 crush defense for 60% more damage at the cap. Corrupt their high defenses

Please give me your feedeback in the comments below.
