Poll question:

Should Slayer's Enchantments be able to be used to enchant the Staff of the Dead and Toxic Staff of the Dead ? This would allow the enhanced Magic Dart spell to be used along with additional the benefits of the Staff of the Dead. The staff would be untradeable while charged.

---- Possible Names ----
Lumbridge Swamp Zombie Breach!
Rescuing Father Urhney
Zombie Tides

---- Backstory ----

Father Urhney has long lived in the Swamps of Lumbridge. For years he has silently dwelled in his humble home trying to avoid attention while adopting angry hermitude.

However, not all is at it seems. Father Urhney has been silently battling the tides of evil that dwell in the swamp. For ages, the Priesthood of Duty has guarded the swamps from the evil that rests beneath. No, not the caves... the graves!!!!

Father Urhney is growing old and has grown weary. While enchanting Ghostspeak Amulets has given some form of humanity, loneliness has taken ahold.

This Novice quest starts for new free-to-play players. After meeting Father Urhney in "The Restless Ghost" (do not need to complete), you can return to him and offer your help. The quest will take place in Lumbridge, the Wizard's Tower, and in the quiet town of Rimmington. Join the Priesthood of Duty by completing the quest.

After completion of the quest, Father Urhney will open his home and his basement. In the basement is the entrance to a cave that holds zombies that have been there for generations. ENDLESS ZOMBIES.

The quest will unlock a new minigame-type area. Either solo, or with a team of players, you can enter the cave and fight back the hordes of evil. Every zombie holds treasures. Mostly skilling related, but also ancient rune from millenia before. Droprates will be determined, but this activity will get progressively harder so surviving each wave will yield better drops.

This is a safe minigame that is meant to add variety for new players and a possible challenge for old players alike.

Thank you for your time! Let's get new players on OS

An idea I posted on twitter:

Stronghold of security revival for poll. Opening up a whole new world.

There could be many new floors which are increasingly difficult to access, with more aggressive and tough NPC's. Deeper in the labyrinth it would get darker and a light source would be required. It could be filled with slayer monsters, aggressive bandits of all typeless combat styles, kalphite and giant insects, dragons, demons, ghouls and hordes of undead as you navigate your way through the tunnels.

Deeper floors would require quests to access as well as dangerous agility obstacles (underground pass-esque), ropes, and mithril grapple to get over large canyons. Near the halfway point there could be a small city in which you pay to use the bank (sacrifice money to a magic chest and magician) or perhaps free if diaries are completed. Maybe even a teleport to this level could eventually be unlocked. This would allow you to resupply to survive to get to lower levels.

Near the city there could be a mine with a runite rock, coals, golds and exclusive gem rocks that give a very rare chance to loot an onyx or zenyte. Though not far from a bank, there could be damaging lava veins that are best avoided by the players which wouldn't make obtaining these materials overly easy.

There could be a giant venomous undead zombie boss on the lowest floor with some unique drops to make this worthwhile. Any thoughts?

In regards to the plan to add impling spawn locations... I have always wished there were implings in the Wilderness. Has anyone ever suggested possibly adding a “Revenant Impling” or maybe bringing back Zombie Implings (but nerfing their loot table). Zombie Implings always gave way too many bones in my opinion, but perhaps with the addition of new impling spawns there could be an introduction of a Revenant Impling. I feel like it would be a cool way to put some revenant loot on a drop table that would maybe be even more rare than killing revenants or make the Implings themselves just very rare in the wilderness and only one at a time.

Just a few thoughts, no real details to my suggestion aside from that. I’d love to hear feedback! Thanks for your time.

Oh, I meant to include in my suggestion about Revenant Implings some other loot they might have. Wilderness specific or themed items or items obtainable in the Wilderness. Dark fishing bait, bones, ashes, rune ore, lava dragon bones, lesser valuable drops from wilderness demi-bosses, ether, wines of Zamorak, dragonhide, white berries, noted logs, mossy key, muddy key, air orbs, very rare chance at Larran’s Key, possibly extremely rare chance of revenant weapon drops.

Has bank space ever been polled? I was thinking that maybe bank space could be increased permanently for those who's accounts were in members previously and therefore when ever those players end up back in f2p they wouldn't have to stress about withdrawing members items by mistake and not being able to put them back in the bank. Not everyone has the time and/or money to be in p2p 24/7 365 days a year so I'd imagine this would be greatly appreciated by a lot of players.

I did read somewhere that increasing bank space for everyone would cause crashes because of data limits or something, however many players know that all you have to do is have duplicates of the items you use in f2p before you end up back in f2p. This being said you would still have the same amount of items in f2p as in p2p without a problem.

This is why I think it would be good to give previous p2p players the max bank space in f2p since the amount of items in the bank (data) would be the same regardless.

Or maybe an undo button to reverse recent withdrawals...I don't know, but there has to be some creative way of addressing this issue.

I have noticed that some skillcape perks are quite unbalanced compared to others.

I think some skillcape perks need a rework to be better suited for the effort people put in.

Some skillcapes at todays rate have teleport perks which are choosen over any other cape,
adding a teleport to other capes without it could be a wise idea.

Examples:
Herblore cape could have a chance to make 4 dose potions.
Runecrafting cape could have the binding necklace effect.

Would be fun to see this in a poll, thanks!

I see two problems for new people that want to play OSRS, first, when I recommend to someone to play, one thing that always have to say is that OSRS is too slow compared to other games, in other hand, more experienced players usually plays on Ironman mode and you cant play in this mode with friend, thats why I recommend a new form of Ironman created for fun and not as a competition, when you can trade only with some people (friends), and you can configure thinks like exp gain, if the game is ironman, you would not affect other people, and can enjoy the game, without expending 900 hours to 99, in the other hand (and I know this is more difficult) I will love to have an ironman mode, and a normal mode in one account.

I would love to see permanent worlds similar to league worlds where content remains the same, and experience gained is multiplied. I hate that to make significant progress in osrs, it has to be the only game I'm playing, because of a lack of time. It's far too time consuming, and because of this, I can't get any of my friends to play. An alternative to a multiplier on experience, you could also set up a stat squish to similar effect, halving or quartering experience required between levels. Having a separate economy/hiscores from the main server would obviously be required, but you've already shown that you can implement separate hiscores with ironmen, and a separate economy should be simple enough to implement, as it would just be a clone of your current system with little to no changes, blocked to certain worlds. I know a couple people currently playing that have expressed interest in a system like this, and many more that have tried osrs, just to quit because of the pace of progression. I love your game, and I would like to be able to play all of it, with my friends, without having to put many more years into it. Which would be a requirement, as the time I have is limited.

I love achievement diaries and their rewards, but the one downside in my opinion is that once you complete the next difficulty level and claim your reward, you can't wear the previous piece anymore, it's just gone, no matter how much you may have liked it's unique look. Personally there are some pieces I really wish I could wear again, even if it was just cosmetic and had no stats.
