It was a brief thought, but the idea of being able to Choose what Osrs musical piece to play in your Player Owned House would be legit!
It could be a piece of Furniture located in the Bedroom that you could build inbetween 30-40 Construction. You could choose any musical piece you wanted to as long as you had discovered it yourself, but the players visiting could not learn the piece just by visiting the home, so it wouldn't be cheating the Music Achievement Cape.
The people who have already worked on their house for a decent amount of time, relaxing with their Construction Skillcape, or the people who Volunteer freely opening their homes for their Guilded Altar use would have just a bit more fun if they were to change the environmental sound to match their housing theme.
Say you have that Haunted House theme you got from the Halloween Holiday event. Wouldn't you think it'd be dope to set the mood with the right choice of creepy ambiance? Or if you have a Desert Oasis escape, (Like Me
) You'd want a mood that would make you feel like a Desert Champion. Even more! Having a Fremennik style house, with the right tracks, you and your visitors can become as Viking as you'd want to be! It's not easy being a Viking, M8.
To match that, it doesn't have to be just 1 song either. It could be a Selection of songs that would be given a maximum limit of at least 15-20; And there could very well an incentive to it as well. To anyone who has the Music Achievement Cape, they could list up to 30 Song within their home to play off!
Just hope you don't have noise complaints. You wouldn't want one of those pesky Yanille guards knocking on your portal, would you? Or an angry nearby Fremminek, certainly not.
Im hoping this Idea spreads quickly, as I know many, many players would enjoy it!
