for most of us playing this game is usually about the nostalgia. That's what keeps bringing me back over the last 10 years is the fact of nostalgia and an amazing game. One piece of content I would like to see reintroduced into the game is the old "skins" for demons. I'm talking even older than the current 07 demons.

PART 1:

Smithing has become one of the least useful and most antagonizing and expensive skills. It has so much potential in this world but instead is ignored for very popular reason, and it's not even that fun to train! So, below are some ideas to be polled to revamp and give this skill more personality.

Should we explore ways to revamp smithing?

Should we adjust existing level requirements and exp for items?(ie: dropping f2p rune and lower armours down to allow for new and more logical armours to be introduced for higher requirements. These armours would not be released until the player base agrees it fits)

Should we introduce a forge at a certain level that allows players to upgrade and replace tools and equipment?(Replace the forge, anvil, use different hammers, bellows, and even add oil you can add to your furnace to temporarily boost your smithing level at this forge.)

Could we add level 100+ requirements for new highly difficult items to forge requiring consumables to boost your stat even if maxed at 99?

Could this finally be a reason to introduce a Dragon Hammer(not warhammer)? Of course anything added will be heavily reviewed and voted upon with open mind from player feedback.

PART 2:

Should we add a way for players to repair Barrows items by exchanging gold for a type of repair powder(as an example) to Bob in Lumbridge? The exchange would end up being the same cost as having Bob repair them himself. However, any fully damaged Barrows item MUST be taken to Bob for repair. Only he is experienced enough to repair it when it's too far out of shape. This will stop players offering to repair them "for free" as a player can not trade partially damaged Barrows items, and players will know you can't repair them at 0.

Should we allow a high smithing level to "tweak" items on a workbench to be SLIGHTLY more efficient? Adding just 2.5% more charges total for example? It would need to be "tweaked" every time you refill it to FULL charges. After being "tweaked" it would be marked by a +,*, or (t).

This is all I got for now. I think we should seriously consider at least taking a player vote

Hey
Can the skill "Summoning" come back pls? It was a great skill with wonderful pets and monsters. I liked it.

I actually support this.

Could we at least try polling this? Summoning was actually released just a month after the end of 2007, so it dies technically count as old school content. I'm sure players would enjoy seeing a change in their play style.

Just assuming it passes a poll, of course. ;)

Revamp Plz.. Steel , mithril and adamantite were all at 99 once. Please do not leave smithing as a relic from runescape classic .

Maxed level players have all the content they could possibly desire, but have you ever thought about creating a personalised instance based upon your stats which would give you a difficult boss accordingly. Drop rates can vary from level to level and each form of boss would drop different items which would maintain value for each boss based upon very specific combat stats, for example: 5 att, 99 str, 1 def, 87 hp 43 pray may recieve a boss with extremely low defense bonus but would have to choose a form of combat to fight before entering the instance which cancels out making the fight easier with range or mage.

And for higher level players whom are maxed would recieve a different boss entirely but equally as difficult challenege for the maxed account and the pures or lower levels as it's completely stat based.

This not only would allow room for many new bosses but also a lot of new items and long term content.

I genuinely think this would be a great idea and would give purpose for PVM for all levels!!!

Thoughts?
