Please merge the OSRS and RS3 clan chats together. With 28k/61k players playing OSRS over RS3 (as of this very moment; ~ 45% of players are playing OSRS) it's not in the best interests for Jagex to split up the community. But at least if you do, you can at least make sure there's a way for people to still connect to one another. Not just via friends list chat since clan chat and friends chat are somewhat different; friends chat is 1:1, and clan chat can be 1:30 etc. but playing OSRS over RS3 pretty much means quitting RS3 but also quitting the clan too in order to play OSRS. Since a common reason why people quit RS is because their friends leave... reducing their ability to talk to their clan because they have to choose to play between OSRS or RS3 should not be a thing. (Some players might decide to play OSRS for a bit but since they can't talk to their clan, they'll play for a bit and might leave later if they can't find people to talk to since RS is a SOCIAL game)
For example, I'm finding myself having to chat with people on my friends list (who are part of my clan on RS3 but I've stopped talking to many of them since I can really only talk to the ones I'm close with) and then I have to join a completely new clan on OSRS.
The suggestion is a quality of life suggestion and I believe that this would OVERALL make the playing experience a lot better and bring the community closer to one another. Isn't that what all players want?
Also, OSRS also deserves a larger section on the forums since there's such a large population of players playing it.
Edit: Whoops, I forgot to mention that this would probably bring in unexpected revenues for Jagex because the player base might be more loyal to the game and staying longer/extending memberships longer since they have a way of connecting with their friends easier now via merged clan chats. Had to edit because I think this is the MOST important reason why Jagex should do this from a business perspective.
