So, I have spent a lot of my time on many different accounts in the wild, mostly hybridding. What I have found is a massive lack of magic potential once you** reached 94 magic with Ice barrage without the implementation of Dungeoneering items or summoning, leaving Ice Barrages max hit to an underwhelming 30/32.
What I recommend, is putting into the game a staff that has a special attack that will mark the target hit with the players next spell, creating a damage amplification effect on that target for a set duration (5%/10% Damage increase)(1 Minute in 1v1 zone)(30 seconds in multi.) OR A Staff with a special attack that marks the next target hit by the players spell creating a somewhat of a soulsplit type effect giving hp absorption to a percentage of the damage dealt for a set duration (1 MIN 1v1 zone)(30 Seconds multi.)
Either of these effects would make using magic slightly more rewarding to use and at the cost of your special attack bar, make players far less reliant on power weapons such as ags.
I would like to see an items such as this have a fairly high crafting level to create, giving use to crafting since as of now there really arent many high level implements to the skill. Poissbly create the staff out of a pre existing staff at 94 crafting?
