Custom skillcape trim
Skill capes are one of those things we use to individualize ourselves in runescape. We work hard on a skill we really like to get a sweet cape to show off. Upon receiving our second 99, we get both of them trimmed, which is cool, but it doesn't have that personal touch to it that it should. my suggestion is to allow players to choose the color of their cape's trim.
-Only one color per skill would be allow (no getting 4 herblore capes, 1 with blue trim, 1 with yellow, 1 with orange, and 1 with purple, all would have to be the same)
-Regular color trim by default, with an option to customize for 50k, and change it for 100k (acts as a much needed money sink)
-Allows players to make their capes more individualized instead of something every single other person has.
-Perhaps a small-medium sized quest, without combat requirements, would be needed to unlock personalization, such as gathering the materials for the color change.
-Potential options such as adding effects to the capes, such as torn, stripes, multi-colored, wind-like effect (similar to the cape movements when weilding a godsword)
I'm not an expert with coding and graphic design, but it seems like a relatively easy change. The capes must already be coded to be a certain color trim, so they would just have to be edited. Also, as suggested by another player, the option menu used for hair and clothing changes could be used to select colors/styles for the capes.
This would not be an ability to change the enter cape's color, only the trimmed part. You would not be able to make an entire attack cape blue or green, only the trim. Perhaps that could be an addition to the idea, something polled seperately if it has some support.
There would not be a color option that would make a cape appear to be untrimmed. Such as no black trim for a slayer cape, white for a hp cape, red for attack, green for herblore. This well prevent people making their slayer and hp capes look untrimmed
