Since theres so many people asking what each update is all about after an update, i think it would be cool to add a message along with the system update countdown so people will know where to look.

Example:

System Update: 06:34 <---- Check the OSRS Homepage for more info!

This has probably already been fielded/covered elsewhere and I haven't found it, but would it be possible for an option to choose (one time only) which runescape gets your original account? I have an account on the new runescape (having never played it) with all its progress having been done in what is now old school runecape. Preferring the old school for several reasons, I would bake cookies for the opportunity to have my account back to normal there instead of being reset into oblivion. I would even pay a one-time rehoming fee to make this a thing, I'm sure I am not the only one who like the choice to keep their progress where they progressed.

Making this a one time option should keep instances of abuse negligible. It would be nice to have the choice of where to have your pre-existing progress kept, even if it's a choice with an almight price-tag*

EDIT: I apologize in advance for any groans and "not-agains" this may cause on the part of the staff ;)

Please add a coinshare function or similiar.

Im in a clan we are a few mates going back to the very early stages of RS's history, playing on and off for a long time. Lets say i rember when falador was in development :)

Anyhow, We are in a clan because we like to get together and nuke some bosses.

We can be from 2-10 people and yet 1 player can ruin a caln party of 2-10 player.

Bring back Coinshare function or smiliar to aviod a team being crashed at bosses. Im not suggetion to bring it back like it was, where the item was destroyed and the partys split the coin value.
I would be fine with it but i imagine a lot of people are against it. Due to lack of items then.

Im suggeting a reworked version, where the party who did most damage gets the item.

Say my friends and I make up a party of 5 players.

We go to a boss with 1000hp. and have fun at take that down several times.

Then 1 player decide to crash us and joins the fight, the party do a total of 700 dmg and the crashing player do 300 Party dmg split like this (180/170/150/130/70), then the crashing player gets the loot because he did most damage with the 300.

Im suggtion a coinshare where if the party was in coinshare mode it would look like this.

PARTY: 700 dmg
Player: 300 dm*

Party get loot.

Now who gets the loot.???

Ofc the player who did most damage in that party.

Player1: 180
Player2: 170
Player3: 150
Player4: 130
Player5: 70

Then player1 should get the loot.

So basicaly if coinshare was active the game would see all the damage from the party as one player and then after figureing out the party did most damage it would identify which player recieves the loot.

This could prevent single players from crashing clans.

If this is to much work for you guys, i sugguest payment of boss room at all bosses, that the only other solution that is even close to acceptable. That way people can still do single takedown if they want, without worry of crashing.

Others might disagree but I think some limitations should be put on the world switcher in the wilderness. It's far too easy to hop worlds just to find players to kill. Being in the wilderness has always been a risk, but now I can always count on being attacked when I'm out there.

Hey Ronan, I was thinking about the Jad pet and a "kiln" like system kind of what rs3 has but I was wondering maybe could we poll something like a "kiln" system for old school? Just the general idea of a "kiln" system or extension to the tzhaar caves, I was thinking maybe go and extend beyond the "gates" around the tzhaar area - the gates is kind of a poorly coded limitation in my opinion and maybe others can agree with me because you can't see anything much except for darkness/nothingness so basically stuff that doesn't exist and I feel like this could be an opportunity to expand and go beyond a bit

(please note i'm just curious about the idea not the actual exact rs3 kiln, i was thinking something similar in a way and not entirely exactly the same basically the oldschool version if possible)

I think Dwarf Cannon should get a small update, including but not limited to:

1) Attack sight - Nieve's stronghold is a prime example of why this needs to happen. Monsters can be standing directly beside the cannon, and still not be seen.

2) Invisible monster glitch? If the monster you're fighting is a "1 square monster" (the ones that only take up one space on the floor), if you lure them to one of the corners of the cannon they disappear completely and you can't right click them or see them. You have to either move or let auto-retaliate finish them off.

____ possible updates?
3) Like in RS3, make a minigame to upgrade cannon to hold more than 30 cannonballs.

4) Also like RS3 (not sure how people will respond), visual update to make it look cooler compared to how many cannonballs you can store in it? (Maybe make it toggle-able for those that will have a problem with the new looks).
