Hi, Scapers!

I started to really enjoy this Ironman Mode stuff because it's a great challenge. However, I don't think the Badge next to my username is anything but a nuisance and it creates unnecessary tension with other players.

Too often, people see the badge next to an ironman account's name and really dislike them for no reason. I'm wondering if we could add a function to toggle the badge so we can be left alone to our own device as if we are normal players. It seems unnecessary to advertise ourselves like that because I see the mode as something other than bragging rights, because there isn't anything to brag about...

I'll even pay for the R&D to add the toggle feature for the badge visibility, lol.

Thanks. Let me know what you all think.

People hate ironmen because they have a superiority complex. If you enjoy the self imposed challenge, why not just play on a normal account? All you have to do is not use the grand exchange or trade with anyone else.

It would be nice to have a filter option for the quest list that shows only quests you meet the requirements for. RS3 has a feature like that and I feel it would be a small quality of life improvement.

Hi dear runescapers!
I hope im right to write suggestions for the weekly q&a here.

To keep it short, there are plenty of pets in the game which we all love.. i would want a feature, for example a cosmetic cape that you can either buy or get to display some of your petcollection once you have met the following criteria. For example a cape for having aquired all the skilling pets, another one for all the wilderness pets as well as a cape for having all the slayer or GWD pets. The list goes on but those are the specific ones i personally think would be amazing to see in game. Since you can only display one pet at the time, this would give the capeowner a lot of prestige and something greater to work towards. I would love to hear your take on this!

I will also post this in the pollsuggestions, you can remove it if it doesnt belong there, since its my first post i have no idea!
Much love to the best devteam in the current MMOERA!

Dear Jagex,

I have some suggestions which I assume would be considered more business than content related.

As a digital marketer I believe there are some things which could be really interesting for Runescape to grow! (As a player I believe we would benefit as well).

Taking examples from really popular games (Fortnite, League of legends, etc), one of the main things that they use to create buzz, is having an effective affiliate program.

I could go on for days about the importance of referral marketing but its fantastic when you have a group of good content creators.

I would imagine something similar to the Item shop in Fortnite where the fans can input a "Support a creator" name which gives a small percentage to the streamer / youtuber.

This could be implemented on the purchase of bonds.

The benefits are:
- Increased bond sales.
- Content creators promote users to make purchases from an official jagex store, instead of promoting a gold farming site.
- Extra incentive for new content creators to start streaming runescape.

Another feature which I believe would be welcome is something similar to a "Battle pass".
Simply put, it's a loyalty program to ensure players log in daily/ weekly/ complete challenges.
This means there could be "seasons" and rewards based on player activity.

The rewards could be cosmetic like your twitch promotions skins, for example.

I believe the Jagex group would have amazing ideas to add to this and I want to avoid making suggestions to the rewards and possible ways of implementation.

Runescape is such a huge game that challenges similar to the diaries could be spread across the whole game and could change themes every 2 months, with new challenges every week.

If the tasks are simple enough, this would also be an effective way of seeing which players are bots based on their seasonal activity.

I would love to discuss more of this but im limited to 3000 characters!

Best Regards,
Mika

Would love to see an option to pay a fee to be able to attach the "Shoulder Parrot" beginner treasure trail reward to a skill cape. Would look really great with especially an herblore/farming cape, but would be fun for everyone that has a skillcape of any kind. It may increase the demand for the reward as well. Just a thought! What's everyone else think? Maybe pay 100k to the wise old man to attach it? As an ironman, it would definitely give me incentive to grind out that reward, but I will choose wearing a cape over the parrot if not.

I am currently doing farm runs to train my herblore using harralanders and goat horns since combat potions gives the most xp for that herb. I've done the easy part of the desert diary so all horn drops are noted but they still only drop one horn per kill which makes it very time consuming considering how many hundreds of horns i need to acquire.

What i would like to propose is that we with the usage of the (sadly forgotten) Creature Creation in the Tower of Life would be able to use a desert goat horn along with a second ingredient to create a monster similar to the Unicow or any of the other monsters you can create in the Tower. Make it drop 2-4 goat horns just like the Unicow drop 2-4 unicorn horns.
