Just wondering if adding some sort of benefits to pets has ever been voted on or an idea?? I feel like i constantly hear people talk about how pointless pets are and how there's no point to grind for one besides cosmetic reasons. It would make grinding a pet 10x more exciting if it had some small benefit to it. Example: agility pet gives less chance of failing courses if its equipped. KBD pet could reduce the damage from dragon fire if u have it equipped. Literally any benefit lol would make it seem so much more exciting.

hello, i had an idea for more of the hardcore players. my idea is a new iron man mode that gives double drop rates from all pvm but the catch would be that you only get half the experience in every skill. so its kinda a trade off, it takes twice as long to get to the stats to kill bosses but in the end once you get the stats it would be so much more satisfying to get those item drops. this could be built upon too. let me know what you guys think!

You know, I was just having a chat with my clan about summoning when it was released back in the day.
I log onto the forums, head the the OSRS small content suggestion page, a lo-and-behold, 3 posts from the last, is a suggestion about pet benefits.

I'm in no way going to suggest the dev's consider adding summoning to the game again.

Why i'm here is because i'm curious to find out if there is a substantial number of players who would be open to a new skill, regardless of what it is.

What I'm suggesting is perhaps a poll come the new year to find out if there is?

The scarcity of Gout Tubers hurts the fun in the game quite a bit for those ironmen who need to get a red topaz machete or those players who simply wish to do the Karamja medium diary.

Why does Safta Doc require a gout tuber to trade you a machete? Wouldn't it make more sense for him to ask for more trading sticks?
Why can't they be bought with trading sticks?

Either way, I suggest increasing the chances of a gout tuber showing up while cutting jungle, while also making sure that a bush does not reset while the player is fighting one of the ever so common enemies that pop up out of the bushes.

I know there has been some chatter around this minigame and would like to further provide my 2 cents.

Firstly, can we do something about these messages that pop up in game in the chat box? Currently they only go away when you click X on the message, can we make all of these messages appear as text in the chat box instead of clickable messages?

Second, can we do anything at all about team sizing? Currently you must have 1 of each role and a duplicate of a role. Can we implement a way to run on 4 person teams? Maybe if you have reached a certain level in the roles? Pest Control has boat tiers based on combat and is directly combat based, we could have team sizes based on role levels.

Third, can we see a blackboard in each room to check points?

Fourth, lets say I want to be a collector.. I walk into the room and am asked by the game which role I want. I choose and am then placed in a team seeking a collector within my same role level grouping. This auto setup will eliminate the most frustrating aspect of the game for most.

Finally, for defenders can we see a change to hammers being loaded into your invent with food at the start? Collector doesn't have to first pick up an egg looting pouch. I'd even be okay with traps breaking after each use.

Just some ideas, thank you for OSRS
