Hello

Watching the raids 2 designing stream with the streamers got me thinking.

here are some ideas i had for the boss room.

Pools of blood would show at feet of player that have been standing there for more than 3 game ticks.

Players are linked to others for a short period of time slowly draining blood from you to the boss every two ticks (scales on how far you are from eachother. This will change your partner every minute you are in the boss room. - ‘blood lust’

Shadow barrage to blind boss- this would give players time to “clean the blood” giving back tiles that were stolen, boss can only be shadow barraged every 30-45 seconds.
Player can be assigned to be a ‘siphon’ which means they can drink blood from the boss itself to heal player in the room if stood on a correct tile, this means cleaning blood lets players clast longer

Every 2 minutes the boss surrounds itself in ‘minions of the wing’ (bats) which causes the room to go dark, according to the amount of people in the room gaps between minions will spawn (shown as a light spot in the room). If the spots (in a series of patterns) is not made in the time 2-5 seconds players outside of the light are forced to ‘form of the bat’ (this would force players to attack other players like pvp or they themselves will get one shot- this will make people think about equipment attacked with) after 5 seconds, the room will come back to light and all other mechanics will continue.

First and foremost I would thank you for taking the time to read this I really appreciate all the time an effort that you guys put into this game , listening to the community, answering questions, interacting with players etc. It's awesome.

Sound effects In-Game:
When playing the game I always use the sound effects, it comes in handy when skilling, PVMING or PVPING.....except when they're are more than a few players doing the same thing for example WINTERTODT.

I like to hear my axe hitting the roots, so I know when I'm cutting or when I'm full. At a place like WINTERTODT I don't use the sound because you literally hear like 900 axes (other players)
Doing the same thing. So my question is:

1. Is there a way to toggle off sound of actions made by other players in the game and not turn off the sound effects made by your character completely? If not how difficult would it be to change this?

These things are dealed with in the environmental sound effects option. Shouldn't affect other sounds sourced from your player, only the surrounding players.

I would like to point out a little note. After changing to a brand new jagex store, the boku payment was cut out, which was for some, and for me the only way to pay for bonds/membership. Would you take a futher investigation into that and fix it, so that I and some other people could enjoy the member content again.

PLEASE update the player death screen to show that untradeables are kept and make it more comprehensive. it completely is out of date. MOD RONAN HAS A FORUM WITH ABSOLUTELY FALSE INFO ON PLAYER DEATH MECHANICS AND ITS VERY CONFUSING.

"**To Rag: The act of continuously attacking someone without the intention of an actual fight. Ragging is used to effectively annoy another player until ragger's demands are met.

Raggers are a problem on F2P as well as P2P servers. As one can imagine, raggers pose to be much more of a nuisance on F2P servers because of the considerably fewer ways to kill someone quickly. Often times a player will start ragging someone if the player feels that the other player has unjustly attacked or killed them. Unfortunately this is not always the case. On many occasions I personally have been ragged for hours/days on end for little to no reason at all.

The fact that there is no in game restrictions on ragging gives raggers ability to decide if another player will be able to have any fights at all given the circumstances. As a loyal RS player of 11+ years I am writing this because I truly care and am deeply concerned."



This post is to get other players feedback on the ragging situation in OSRS PVP right now and come up with possible solutions.

A possible solution that I had is after a player attacks you so many times a message can appear in the chat box questioning whether or not the player is ragging you. If you select yes then the player can't attack you for 30mins or so. If this continues then the timer increases.

I know that I don't only speak for myself when I say ragging is a real problem in PVP and its up to us to fix it! All solutions welcomed please

It has gotten to a point where raggers are continuously attacking players, not allowing them to get other fights and trying to charge the targeted players money/items for them to stop.

HOW CAN THIS BE ALLOWED?

ALSO- Players should not be able to tell another player "You are not going to get another fight in the wildy again" and actually have a way of ensuring it. This immediately needs attention.

The fact that these raggers use the threat of a "Perm Rag" to try to get other players to do what they want is not acceptable

I sincerely hope that a plan can be developed to deal with this problem.

I had a dream of a spectre slayer boss that is accessible through the slime pool under the ectofunctus by jumping into it and getting washed down to where there is a bank chest and barrier to enter the boss section. it would be godwarsesque having 2-3 spectre minions and a larger spectre boss oozing with slime. the environment would look dark and dingy like a large open central drainage in a big sewer system. the walls would ooze with slime and sewer pipes would protrude from the walls pouring out slime and they could be environment interactions as slime would power the boss. if anyone would like to add to or elaborate more on details feel free but the base content is there. i believe this is a promising future team preferably or solo boss
