Okay, firstly my excuse is that it's late at night and im tired. But i just had to write it and get your opinion. I don't know if this was suggested before.... I think oldschool runescape should partner up with steam. My arguments for this are:
1.Bigger player pool
2.Obviously with players, comes the community, both on steam and here.
3.Since Jagex tries to prevent real world trading, this might be one of solutions. Because you would be able to exchange one game's items for another's,with no need of real money transactions.
So by now you are thinking: "You dumb person, jagex is it's own company,it doesnt need anyone else". And you are partially right. But you could look at an example with the game "Spiral Knights",or many others. They still are their own companies, its just that they make a lot of more sales.
Of course someone still is thinking: "Runescape has so many items, making them all treadable would be too hard and confusing." And the answer for that would be: The only treadable currency is coins, with the exception of special armor or costumes, which could be sold on the steam market aswell.
I do apologise to those, who think they wasted their time with this thread. Im sorry guys, but i had to do it.
To conclude i would like to say: There arent any right or wrong opinions here. Just share your thoughts about this.
