Hey all,

Just a small suggestion, but I feel it'd be an update the majority of OldSchool RuneScape could get behind.

What about the ability to Name your pet if you receive one? So when you right click it for example, instead of Heron, it says "Emma" or whatever you'd like.

I understand it really adds no value to the game and might be seen as a waste of developers time. But I know anyone with a pet would love to see this implemented into the game.

Hope to see it polled some time in the future.

sometimes i accidently hit buttons and it will type it in the chat can you guys make it so the text goes away after a certain amount of time if you havent pressed enter to send the text? Its just would make the game more high quality and it bothers me cuz i got ocd

Farming-related stuff:

I would some kind of way to check which herbs you planted without having to pick them.
Preferably just hovering over the patch just like everything else (Inspect Strawberry plant).
Why does it just say Inspect Herbs instead of Inspect Guam Herbs there?
Alternatively the examine info might be changed to include the herb-name.

Note: Guam is just an example of course.

Also I'd like to renew my support for Kioskates's request which is more a bug-fix than a suggestion in my opinion.
You can't stop putting stuff into the compost bin. You can while taking compost out, but even spamclicking won't interrupt the filling of the bin.
As he pointed out, his is dangerous for low combat players in the Phasmatis farm, since they can come under attack there.
And of course it can happen you started putting the wrong item into the bin. Let's say Ranarrs. You'd like to stop, right?

Small Abyss Tweak: Remove the "Burn" (Tinderbox) option from the Abyss and add another Mine/Cut/Squeeze. I doubt anybody has used the burn option as the tinderbox would take up an inventory space.

Not sure if it's been suggested before, but I think it would be cool to be able to customize the chat filter. It would be done similar to how you right-click on a player's name in the chatbox and you get the option to "add friend/ignore", except you'd right click on the chosen message you don't wish to see, and you'd right click "filter" it, so you never see the message again.

They would be saved, and this way you would only see the game messages you'd want to see.

small suggestion. the Dark beast cave can you make it multi combat just to A) make it a bit more interesting and b) to on chance of creating a new kind of get together with hard monsters in general. i suggest north of the slaves. i think soloing a hoard of them would be impossible. Everyone fights, no one quits.

Will it be possible to add the 99s and 100m XP achievements etc.. in the chatbox to make it visible for others? Rs3 already has it, I think it would be nice to have it on Oldschool RS as well.

I disagree. Those messages are just depressing. If you see how many people achieve those milestones, they become worthless. If a hundred people a day get those 'huge' achievements, why should I go for it? Not like it's anything special.
Ignorance keeps people feel like they really did achieve something.

The Mage arena capes should have at least a +1 prayer bonus. It would make sense to me if a Saradomin cape (Guthix, Zamorak) which is obtained from prayer to a god statue would provide this. Many people may say it will cause treasure trail cloaks to fluctuate, but it just seems right to me.

Would it be possible to add a drop menu? Let me elaborate on that question;
One that allows the players to choose whether or not they can interact with their or other players' pets? Left, right click or hidden?
If yes; the controls button located in the options tab would be a nice location.
