Introduction


Hello and welcome! If you have stumbled across our thread you're most likely looking for a clan, well you mustn't look any further, Gambino is a family based clan which is much stronger than any normal clan you may come across. We watch out for each other here and help another in tough situations. Gambino is over a decade old, starting in 2007-2015, and reformed in Oldschool in 2016. I have been in this family since 2008, and I am very dedicated to it's well-being. Previously known as Kill Joy788, I took leadership in 2016, and have made thousands of friends in this family. I hope to see it through till the very end, and continue our legacy!

Family Rules


1. Be respectful, we're all fellow scapers here to have fun and enjoy the game!
2. Avoid politics, exceptions can be made if you are able to meet in the middle and communicate.
3. Use proper discord text channels, posting in the wrong channel may result in the post being removed/relocated.
4. No spoilers of anything relevant in discord/cc.
5. Follow Runescape rules/guidelines.
6. Any drops gained through group content will always be split equally at the end of the trip.

The Gambino Family on this day attempted at branching out to create another Family, The Donquixote Family. Though the attempt was futile, and the Family was disbanded about two months later we had learned a lot from this experience. I look forward to seeing another attempt at creating/bringing back other Families in the future.

Consigliere - Gold Star
The is a close trusted friend and confidant of the family boss. The function of the consigliere is a throwback to medieval times, when a monarch placed his trust in an adviser whom he could summon for strategic information and sound advice. The consigliere is meant to offer unbiased information based on what he sees as best for the family. He’s not supposed to factor emotional concerns, such as retaliation and blood feuds, into his decisions. Unlike the underboss (see below), the consigliere is not required to be a direct relative of the boss. Instead, he is chosen solely for his abilities and the amount of knowledge he possesses. Generally, only the boss and underboss have more authority than the consigliere in an organized crime family.

Underboss - Silver Star
The underboss, or capo bastone, is second-in-command in the hierarchy of the Mafia crime family. His level of authority varies from family to family, but he is ready to stand in for the boss at any given moment. The underboss can easily find himself at the helm of the family so, for the most part, they are usually groomed for an eventual takeover. A family may have two underbosses.

Caporegime - Bronze Star
The capo, or caporegime, is the captain or lieutenant of a division within the Mafia. He heads a crew of soldiers and reports directly to the Don or underboss, who hands down the instructions.

Made Man - Three Stripes
Greatly respected members of the family
They are Soldiers who have proven themselves for the family.

Enforcer - Two Stripes
Those who have earned the respect to prove themselves more than simple members

Soldier - One Stripe
An active member of the family, proven their loyalty to progress beyond an associate.

Associate - Smiley Face
New member, recruited into the life of The Mafia. Everyone starts as this.

History of Gambino!

2007-2010
The History of the Gambino Family dates back to 2007 in Runescape, it was one of many mafia themed clans back in its day and was also one of the strongest pre EoC, Gambino was around for a while prior to being given its name, which was given by the first Don Knight 2672. Knight's goal was to build a massive army and wage war against other families which he did well. Gambino was a very active family with daily events and weekly meetings hosted by Knight from around 2007-2010 with help from his council. Around this time Gambino was in its prime with many activities and near monthly wars ranging from 100vs100 to 50vs50 winning many. Our family was also very active in the Mafia Network with Underboss+ members participating in Don Meetings every other month and engaging via RS Forums. Knight lead this Family very well with almost no drama over the years, Gambino truly felt like a home amongst family. Around 2010-2011 Knight resigned leadership and gave it to three people, Anders Enga, Emillionaire, and Meanisaurus.
