MAYHEM IN MAY 1V1 TOURNAMENT


Welcome everyone to the first ever 1v1 invitational. This tournament is to showcase the many talents of both families involved. With the Finals being the winner of the Gambino family vs the winner of the Donquixote family! Family pride is on the line!

First and foremost, why are we doing this? Simple, not to only showcase your talents, but to do it in a balanced environment. Secondly, I use it as a means of observation when we start doing war practices.

Rewards:
There is alot at stake in this tournament. To the winner, they get 10M. Moreover, the winning family also gets 10M to put toward their family bank and/or project fund. 2nd place individual will get 5M & 3rd place will get 3M. Only family money given is to winner.

When:
Friday, May 26th at 6PM Pacific time. (Normally this is when we have a meeting, but this will be in it's place.)

Where:
World 339 Duel Arena

How do I register?
You don't have to. Just show up and tell your leader you are competing so we can enter your name into the tournament bracket.

Tournament Rules


There will be a registration period that will run up until the tournament draw starts. Once the draw is done, no more competitors will be allowed to join.

I will create a bracket, which will be posted on the Gambino discord (which Donquixote leaders have access to) We will pair everyone up and i will post rounds at the duel arena if you do not have access to discord.

In order to get more people involved, I have created a tournament structure that
limits your gear options
to keep it affordable and balanced. The rules will be posted in the next post.

Why am i doing this? Because I'm a jerk... no. Not everyone can afford best gear in game. Plus I want to see skill used in these 1v1s, not winning because of OP gear.

Gear Limitations


If i have an item listed... such as "Rune armour" under melee for example, it means up to rune armour. No dragon armour, barrows gear, etc. Goal is to make it cheap and simple.


Melee:

Rune Armour
Dragon Weapons (no claws)
For helmets, Neitznot & freminik (like archer, seers & warrior) are acceptable.

Ranging

No bow with a requirement over 61.
Red dragonhide
When using a crossbow, only bolts forbidden is onyx(e)
No dark bow or dragon axes.
No ranger gear. (Like robin hat, ranger boots, etc)

Magic

Standard Spellbook
No staves or wands with a requirement over 60.
Mystic or Splitbark armour.

Shield & Jewelry Slot

Just kite shields or prayer books.
No defenders
No shield with a requirement over 60.
No Zenyte jewelry

Food & Potions

Monkfish -- to be donated by dyablink1
Super Sets (super attack/super strength/super defense)
Ranging Potions
Magic Potions
Prayer Potions
No Karambwan
