I find it amusing that people are trying old scams again, as if people have forgotten just because we're on an old server.

Anyway.. someone tried to get me in lumby swamps yesterday. Was doing Restless Ghost and was in the swamp looking for the monk (who isnt where he is in the current game >_&gt ;) and they came up to ask for help. I was not in a hurry so agreed and it turned out they wanted help down in Lumby Caves and they gave me a rope and candle to go down with them. I wasnt paying much attention (still tryin to think where the monk was....) and very almost went along with it, but then remembered that candles explode down there and I would have met a painful end.

I wasnt sure if they actually knew this and intended to kill me.. so I just went and banked all much stuff and came back prepared to help and die, but when they saw this they just logged off so..

*shrugs* What can ya do.

Im not sure if its scam ( but i think it is for like 99%) but 3 or 4 people in last 2 days wrote me some bs like "hey man i saw you on X website, you did a great job dropping taco limey" or something like "hey man i saw you on vid of the week , go to X site and check it" i reported all of them and ignored instantly , but some of them had decent stats , so thats what holds be back from thinking its straight scam , on the other hand those accounts with decent stats could have been hacked and hackers are writing from stolen accounts . So yeah be aware of this . Im pretty sure when you go to the website the random person tells ya , there will be java pop up which will ask you if you want to run java to view this and if you click yes thats enough and you have rat in your computer, so be aware of stuff like this , dont watch videos anywhere apart from jaggex approved sites.
