The game was only authentic during the first few months in 2013 when OSRS opened.
Today it's completely and entirely different. It's both good and bad in that it keeps a lot in preserving that 2004 - 2007 era of Runescape, but tosses away a lot of the core values for cheap, half assed updates that little thought and care were put into.

Like-attracts-like, this might explain the reason why we see more brats on reddit and forum these days. Nowadays, the open you open up the forum, "wow it's all spams holy shit"
I loved the originality of what the game used to be built on values. Now it's not that way anymore and I know there will be people who nitpick and judges me well who cares.
If this game right now is meant for people who hasn't really grown up, then I am free to live my life in my fulfilling way as well. No hard feelings.

The current OSRS still has the nostalgic feel however, they should never of added the grand exchange back in. Without it the trade worlds would be full of people, colourful text, and lag.
Jorgeous, the Ironman (
Lol, I remember the pain of having to spam at West Varrock Bank all day long just to find the player who was willing to sell me that item. Can't remember what was I buying tho.
Annoying, but also part of the fun.
