Rising made a solid point in game, we should have the GE in the wilderness. It would increase the wilderness activity by 1000% (made up number)! Two birds with one stone. From 1k kills this guys basic drops averaged out to 114k/kill according to todays prices. The guy also got 3 helms, 2 fangs, and 1 pipe so that brings it up to 152k/kill though 6-7 valuable drops might be lucky, I've gotten 0 in 370 kills. This does not factor in supply costs so your actual profit will be less than these figures.

No it doesn't, you just want it too. Besides, that stil makes you pk bait any time you sell. Without sellers there is no buyer, without buyers or sellers there is no reason for the GE.

I think there would definitely be interest if people could see a concept for such a thing.

To let skilling produce something good that can rival a big ticket PvM drop, you have to deal with the issue of mass production. The MTA does this really well, because to get infinity gear you need to spend many hours accumulating points in the various sub-games. This would be one key part of such a design.

The hardest part however is to create something that is genuinely challenging, but fortunately we have something in the game that already sets a fantastic foundation for this—and it's called Trouble Brewing. That minigame seriously has a huge potential. There's a number of flaws with it at the moment such as there being a hard cap on rum production when you reach max efficiency, inconsistencies in click-handling on various objects and general user-unfriendliness due to it being neglected and no one really caring about it.

But to truly master Trouble Brewing you need to effectively manage many parts of the production process at once. This means being able to effectively divide the team up into roles, and working out how best to rotate around the various resources to minimise running time for the amount you collect. There's also an entire sub-strategy at the start of each game where you have to start the production process as quickly as possible before setting into the standard routine.
