What is this DT 2 ??
An attempt to write a good quest with OS combat limitations
Not a very successful attempt then, as I only see combat, combat, combat, and more combat against a a dozen of high level named bosses and minibosses kind of NPCs, and not much on what the Zarosian Empire was like in the 2nd Age. We didn't even get to know about the new bosses and named NPC other than their names, and why did we need them in OSRS.
The only things that make the quest seem Zarosian come from the trash talking between Asgarnia Smith, Terry Balando and Dr Banikan on the name "Nabanik". The name Duke Sucellus may also ring a bell... but only to players who have played RS3.
Secret of the North, although not a Grandmaster Quest, at least told us the story of the Ritual of the Mahjarrat, and the dream of Mahjarrat. At least there are meaningful stories we learned from it, but not the case with DT2 whatsoever.

If you're not enjoying this content, and it's making you feel this way, you probably should just do something else
I've always found in gaming, it's not wroth sticking at something for the sake of it, especially if you're not enjoying it.
like quitting? thats what all my friends whom i made over this game are saying anyways...
if enough people will 'do something else' that means the game will not be even cash-neutral, i.e. it will keep losing money, i.e. it will shut down.
Do you feel like this 'advice' of yours is actually an intelligent response?
anyways i saw vid with 500 hit of the new axe, nty, go OSOSRS but without all the woke idiots at jagex, including that dog CEO of yours. BTW americans own the game now, as soon as they get abysmal financials, entire jagex staff will get purged.
OP, if you’re so unhappy, then go somewhere else. You’re welcome to enjoy there huge amount of other RS content or go play other games. You’re allowed your opinion and criticisms, but there’s no need to go around being an ass to other members because of it.
Perhaps the OP should elaborate a bit more on their particular concerns with this content in the fashion Dilbert has done so we can have a more fruitful discussion about it
Quest was fun, bosses are repeatable and enjoyable. What on earth are you blabbering about?
If you're finding them difficult just spend more time on them, and you'll master them quickly. If you really dislike the content, then don't do it.
