~ About me ~

Having played this game for nearly 18 years on and off, I decided it's about time to document my journey, now I have finally set my mind and heart on maxing. In real life I'm a keen long distance runner, and I take my attitude from that into scaping. Long hours with repetitive motions, with one end goal in sight. I'm also a bass player and a music nerd at heart. I'm always looking for new albums to check out.

~ My journey as a scaper ~

My adventure as a runescape enjoyer started at a young age, and I imagine in similar circumstances as many, someone in school introduced me to it. I was young, naive and terrible at the game, but I was hooked. I stopped for many years but returned with the release of OSRS, and again have been playing on and off ever since. I've always been a skiller at heart, and despite recently dipping my toes in PVM, skilling is where I naturally gravitate towards.

~ Plans for my account/this thread ~

The plan is simple, max! I'm currently working on Woodcutting, and tend to stick to one skill when I get into it. I'm hoping to give daily updates on where I am, what I'm doing in game, what I'm watching on the side. I hope people stick around and join me on this long, potentially fun, journey.

~ Progress update 1 ~

~~ 29/07/23 ~~

Today has been a real lovely Saturday, something was in the air as I sat down with my coffee and hit log in. In and out of chat with fellow woodcutters at the Prif Teaks W444 (ifkyk) while also watching some B0aty collection log videos.

I hit 92 Woodcutting in the afternoon, and celebrated with a fruit tree run. I'm aiming for 50m Farming exp, mostly through fruit tree and herb runs. It is my favourite skill in the game, but I refuse to spend ridiculous ammounts on Magic seeds. This is a long passive grind, so there's no rush.

Waiting on beaver pet before I get the Funky Shaped Log. Not too keen on the Forestry outfit but will get it for clog.

What I watched/Listened to

Checked out the new Travis Scott album, I'd give it a 7.5/10. Also some B0aty and Verf. Started his 1 def UIM series and enjoying it. I usually stick to osrs content while scapin'
but might move onto The Bear next.
