Support cuz it'll happen eventually. Either as tradeable items on TH, or overrides on SGS. I'd prefer 'em just to be overrides as I'm sure most that currently own the item(s) (could eventually happen to all discontinued items) would agree.

There would still be "prestige" in owning an original over a replica override, as obviously one would have "replica" in it's name when you examined another player wearing it as an override.

The lure of the cash grab by the investors (not necessarily Jagex staff) will get too stronk to resist, and they're the ones that actually call the shots.

Would you (the people opposing) rather them be released as actual items identical to originals via TH or just a replica override via SGS? Personally I'd rather see the latter, as this thread is suggesting.

Agreed.

At least with this they arent really getting "rereleased" per say as the actual item is still discontinued.
