I think with the current Black Friday sale this has become even more relevant.
I was excited to buy some since they were 50% off, then read up on them and to my disappointment they were wasted if I wanted a different color.

Even at 50% off I will not be buying any simply because they don't get saved with the make over mage.

i support this, JaGeX most likely dose NOT support this as that means nomore buying 100s of consumables vs 1 pernamant.

Well this isn't the first time they came up with something thinking it would be a good idea in theory, and turned out to be disastrous in practice. I really do wonder how many people actually bought them since their release.

I'd think if keepsake keys were implemented the same way as these extracts, where you could keepsake one item and would need to reclaim it to keepsake another, you'd only see people keepsaking either 1 partyhat, 1 comp cape or some other item that means a lot to them...and that's it , they all buy 1 key and that's their business finished as far as keepsaking goes.

Although that's only my opinion I am sure most people would agree. There might be an odd person with money to throw around who would keepsake for fun, but for the majority it would be a problem. That's what we're seeing here with these extracts.

If the colors you bought could be saved for re-use, I would certainly buy out every color. That's 10 bonds I would be spending to buy all 23 colors, 10 bonds that would otherwise not be bought with how the extracts work currently.

Now for a
suggestion
, I would personally push for a rework, where any color you bought could be saved with the make-over mage, so you could change your skintone at any time you choose, but I wouldn't want this to be a free service. I think it would be fair to charge between
250k
and
500k
coins to change your skin color from a catalogue of colors you previously purchased.

Feels bad man.
