Mod Wolf (@JagexWolf) tweeted a teaser image showing new dye's colour wheel yesterday. I guess it's going to be called Prismatic Dye.

There's a petition thread going on in the Future Game Updates subforum, asking for the new colours to be made free. I've quoted my own response below. Hope a Mod can take my suggestion if making it free outright is not possible.

TBH these new "Prismatic" dyes could've been a lot worse -- at least they're permanent and not single-use consumables like the Chameleon Extract that is wasted as soon as you change your skin colour back to one of the default ones. I guess the MTX team took heed from the many posts in the SGS forum asking for the skin dyes to be made permanent.

But IMO 8 slots aren't enough. This, combined with the fact that you have to pay for each new colour, is going to discourage experimentation, just as the Chameleon Extract did with its temporary skin colours.

Seeing as this is MTX after all, I think a good compromise is to pay for the slots instead of the colours themselves. So if you buy one slot, you can change the colour in that slot as many times as you like. But if for example you want to wear a custom-coloured hat together with trousers in a different custom colour at the same time , then you'd have to buy another slot.

Having said that, I'll still sign your petition even if I don't expect the MTX team to give it to us for free.

^Skintone dyes are perm just don't change colors.

I bought a 6 pack for the savings, ended up spending more just for savings I won't use because I probably won't change colors back. Lost Woods numba 1, (NOT EE, Those scrubs are liars ;p)
