The original santa outfit shouldn't get rereleased. A black santa outfit or a different santa suit should get released.
Players have been wanting the santa suit to come back for a long time. It's one of those more sought after holiday event items as it's a santa-related reward. Jagex has rereleased holiday items in alternative versions before e.g the rubber chicken and the easter carrot or rubber turkey.

They shouldn't release the original versions but different versions. Like i said it's been done before and no harm comes from it.
Easter ring > Bone brooch > Ring of snow
Snow globe > Christmas wand > Eggsterminator > Water balloons
Scythe > Candycane > Xmas Scythe
2005 Xmas Scarves > Tinsel Scarf.

That was asked when ppl wanted different versions to be released in sgs, yet it still didnt happen.

So if thats anything to go by i dont see why this should either?

Nope the poll was for the original items to return except in a slightly different shade such as releasing a slight modified bunny ears or eek. What i'm saying is completely different - completely different item but similar functions.
EDIT: The black santa suits design could be made different to the original. Just like the black santa is to the red santa. It's not just a simple colour change.

So going from the way you worded this, you pretty much agreed that they werent rereleasing the same items?

Yes i agree that they shouldn't release the same design of the same item. But they SHOULD release a different design of the same item.
