Yes they can, but considering the amount of bad feedback they got from the result of the poll, it wouldnt be in their best interest to add them.
So did eoc, and mtx. Yet it's still here to stay. I fail to see your argument. Just because a poll which did get the majority of supporters got scrapped, does not mean that that decision should remain final.

Adding the santa suit to SGS won't anger a good portion of the playerbase, no worries.

Not really. The particular poll you're referring to is somewhat different. The idea was to rerelease clones of the original item in a different shade - e.g grey/darer versions of bunny ears or eek the spider lets say. I myself were against that and did not support it. However this idea is to rerelease the original santa suit onto solomons, and not a cheap rip off of it.
