Ehm, which value are you talking about in this quote again?
Because if it's historical value, what do you mean "finally" getting it? It's been there all this time, because the discontinued rewards have been discontinued. Making the untradeables tradeable would in fact take away the historical value that is tied to the account, as you could no longer tell who originally obtained them, although the historical value that is tied to the item itself would be kept, as you'd know when and where they've come from.
And if it's gp value, it doesn't interest me personally. The tradeability compromise is just there as an option for compromise, it's not something I'd actively want otherwise.
That said, are we done then?
