- Allow multiple weapon keepsakes (one for each weapon type).
- (Always visible weapons) Allow weapons to be shown at all times (no requirement to wield a 1h mace to display rubber chicken). Maybe to help make this possible, make weapons revert to their non-keepsake form while in combat?
- Allow weapons to be keepsaked in both main hand and off-hand (e.g.
dual rubber chicken
/ dual bouquet / dual spork).
- Allow cosmetic auras to be keepsaked (e.g. Infernal gaze aura)
At the moment we can only store one of each slot - we could possibly investigate adding more in the future but right now can't promise anything.
For weapons always showing, unfortunately this is not possible due to the animations the player uses when they have certain weapons equipped. We can't have conflicting information here as much as I'd like to.
Next, we can only include items that exist - as there is no offhand rubber chicken, it cannot be added to that slot.
And finally cosmetic auras... I shall investigate what can be done with them.

Each type of weapon has a different set of base animations (idle stance, sheath/unsheath, combat animations etc) that are unique to them and we cannot pass in conflicting types otherwise your character will get very confused.
Thanks for the swift reply Daze
I understand it's currently a simple swap out of the displayed model ID, but is it not possible to change the animations along with it?
I understand it may be more work, and forgive me if I'm naive for thinking so, but wouldn't it just be a case of changing the animation set ID to match that of the displayed weapon type instead of the equipped weapon?
(As you already said, you have already done this for the golden katana run animation when keepsaked)
I imagine it would definitely make these overrides a lot more desirable!
Maybe moving slightly further away from the topic but if this can't be done, I would still strongly suggest a rethink of the weapon type of the GG torches; I would say they're more like crushing weapons than slashing :p
Hey Mod Daze, this is a follow up on my post on the first page:
(I keepsaked a mithril ceremonial sword (i) and it didn't override Korasi's sword nor Leafblade nor Chaotic Rapier. It did override Darklight but i'd rather fight with a Korasi's sword.)
I went to a dungeon to see which type of sword my ceremonial sword would override, turns out it didn't override a novite rapier but it did override a novite longsword. So i'm guessing the rapier is in the shortsword/dagger type while the novite longsword (obviously) and my keepsaked ceremonial sword are in the longsword/scimitar type.
According to your list one first page, the same type of weapons have the same idle animations. I also used an offhand novite logsword, they both had different idle animations but maybe that was on purpose.
My question is why can't a Ceremonial sword (longsword/scimitar) override a Korasi's sword which i was almost certain was a longsword or atleast a scimitar
Thanks for taking note of it at least, I'm sure that many other players would also be very happy if we had a keepsake for each type of weapon, main hand, offhand and 2h for each class.
From what I can see it's a bit like solomon's store first coming out and only being able to active one item per slot which has now been changed to different types of weapons. I'm confident you can do it

Few problems. First, I keepsaked a new vesta's longsword and it worked successfully, but only for the main hand. I can't use it as an override for the offhand. Can that be changed? It's a bit tacky to have a vls in one hand and something else in the other.
Second, upon discovering that the VLS only counts for the mainhand, I tried to keepsake a starfury bow. Apparently, that can't be keepsaked either. Kinda hurtful to know that I spent money on these overrides and now they appear to be going to waste...

The new relic helm.
I assume its more of an issue of 'what if i change sides?', but i still think it would be a nice edition to the keepsake.
Just spoke to Mod Ollo about this and he knows about it and is looking into it.
