JAGeX, is "JAGeX" in name only. Since about 2005. Under the Gower's creation, they tried their best to give their players incentive by loyalty, and renew their trust with their customers regularly. It's only innevitible that some greedy b'tards would buy the company to [censored] the people. Once, both sides had it going really well. Now it's one-sided and it's certainly pathetic, and sick. It makes people literally want to vomit - for the way other sacks-of-garbage will take things that are decent in the world and take advantage of them. For you in JAGeX doing this, [censored] YOU, you lowly POS.
A few valid points to reitterate:
1) Pre-Paid cards so refunds can't be granted.
2) Selling IRL (or are they?) items to players - something for 'pixels' (nothing).
3) Enticement (possible sue point) by taunting loyal players of the game (emotional distress - another possible sue point)
4) Putting in graphically (attractive) enhanced aspects of the game to futher entice and solicit use of the game, instead of fixing basic problems and existing content. - Point being here, there IS NO CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. No service. Updates are going into the game (like a virus) that NOBODY ASKS FOR.
5) No in-depth descriptions (with images) in marketing of buyable 'products' = SCAM.
6) Could go on, but you get the idea.
These corporate leeches can and will do absolutely NOTHING for us anymore. Not at request, not even at demand of their 'bread & butter'. They don't care. When the game goes bankrupt, they'll just get the 'tax-payers' to pay for their short-coming*. That's the world we live in, because we put up with their sh*t, and have to stop.
The ONLY reason we keep playing is because RS was a unique gaming experience with a core essense that fortunately, either by decision or luck, is still slightly intact.

Well, looks like I'll actually be taking advantage of one of these for once even though I already pay recurring by credit card. Considering it's 3 different cosmetics this time, I'm definitely going to get myself a $25 card from Gamestop! *h, it'll cost a little more, but not like I'm paying double extra or something. Just a few bucks more for the card's duration, then I get back on my low monthly rate.
Tired of missing out on these promotions just because I'm loyal enough to do recurring by credit card for years.. So, I will be participating this time.
