I think Jagex needs to make up for their mistakes and figure out all the
Member players who were on less then an hour in game should receive a 2x boosting
for 4 hours of game play (not as much as the weekend but owns up to there server
problems) this would be an impact that jagex cares about their players for those
who were left without the bonus. instead of just wanting their players to buy
memberships and just get the benefits (because you're paying for it)
in my opinion this game to me has become a waste of money

One of the lesser discussed effects of the "flat rate" bonus XP multiplier of "2 times" is, that it gives addicted and "no life" players an even more advantage above "normal" players who do not want to waste a COMPLETE weekend behind a screen.
Abnormal players (for instance playing 20 hours or more within 2 days) were benefitted which should not be ... unless ... Jagex does not care at all anything about a certain responsiblity for the lifes of players of young age.
What - at least in my opinion - is the case.
It's just the MONEY that counts for Jagex.

mummiepoep,
I disagree with your analogy that regular no-lifers gained a greater benefit than those who have a life.
I have a day job, and work as a performing musician and manage to squeeze in a few hours each week here to escape from reality a bit.
If the no-lifer played their typical 10 hours per day, those with a life played their couple hours over the weekend, and those like me who pretend to have a life squeezed in my typical what-ever-I-can-manage, we'd each have gained twice the amount of experience we normally would have.
I admit that some people logged in for more hours than they typically would during a non-bonus event but I don't see that as unfair to the people who chose to enhance their real world lives instead of gaining xp.
For me, I had 2 band rehearsals, recorded bed tracks for 2 of my songs, hung out with my children (both in game and in the real world), made dinner for my parents Saturday, and still managed to gain a couple hundred hundred thousand xp.
