As a network tech, in my day job, I have a grasp on production server SLA's. Typically in an IT environment, testing and preparing for future upgrades adds a large overhead to an already taxed system and oftentimes detracts from the client experience.
It is refreshing to see the creativity you all apply in enhancing the client experience during these process which will ultimately lead to a more improved reaction time through future updates. It is unfortunate that some players had issues with logging in to such a hectic period but from everyone I've spoken to, overall, it was a positive way to find the potential weak points in your delivery model.
As a long time gamer and Beta-Banger from the pre-28.8 era, I continue to appreciate the content you provide and especially enjoy the community like atmosphere found in most areas of the game and even here in the forums.
Thank you for finding a way to, for the most part, better our collective experience of Runescape both today and into the future. If only I lived across the pond...
