I too would like to Thank You at Jagex for the DXP weekend
With regret there are some serious issues that you neglecting when it came to this event.
Bots = Advert - Scamming - resource gathering
Why was this ONE very important issue not taken care of before this weekend?
If you want to know why your servers had so many problems and why players lagged so much all you have to do is take a look at the bots that envaded this weekend adn were allowed the benifits that the legit player should ultimately be only one recieving.
Had you taken care of the botting problem like you siad you were going to take care of over a year ago and dealt with this issue then - I know you would not have had near the lag that everyone including yourselves experienced.
The other overwhelming issue was bots with familars and familars in general....this was the other key issue that many players had to deal with....but had you gotten rid of the bots like you have promised over and over again to do then the issue of legit players having familars out would NOT have been an issue.

Weekend Idea was absolutely awesome! 48 hours of DOUBLE (2x) EXP, instead of the multiplier system, was AWESOME.
buuut..
the LAG was so intense there was no point in playing any longer for me...
idk about other players, but I couldn't even run 5 squares without standing still..
and that was in different places around runescape, not just at the ge..
I decided to just give up and not fight the lag, cause i could get more exp outside this weekend then while it was 2x Exp and this massive lagg..
A REAL SHAME!
If you do another weekend like this, please upgrade your servers first, so this lagg DOES NOT occur.
Thank you, and great idea for the event, just turned out not to be that great cause of the lagg..

i lvld 3 lvls becuz of the ****** **** of jagex , i gave up after 24 hours trying to log in , i lvl more on a regular day , thanx alot for ****** up my xp weekend , next time call it trouble xp weekend , no more memberships for me after the eoc ,keep the ****** work up jagex, your losing all your good members , thanxx for the good years , 1 tip , dont fix it when it aint broken , dont fix it when it aint broken , dont fix it when it aint broken!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

To me the double Exp weekend was pretty frustating because of lag and other issues like the gilded altars.
I spent the most of my money on Dragon bones for prayer, but it only gave 144 exp per dragon bones.That the same amount Exp as when burried (with double Exp) Anyways I should have had 252 exp per bone.
Everyone had the same issue when they were using the Gilded altar with 2 burners lit. I also tried different altars, after the double exp weekend was over everything was like normal. :/

couldnt loggin normal for hours .
could get double more xp if it was no lag.
hope u will menage next doble xo weekend but this time no lag.
why dont u just rent some exra servers or something as u always do before.
I maxed so just dungeon run to 120 left for me.
Couldnt do as much as I wanted to do coz of lag .
