Had a ball thanks very much - dealt with lag with lots of deep breaths and coffee :D A few here could learn some patience as well and how about checking your machine settings to ensure its not all blame jagex as that the default thing to do yeh?

You can please some of the people some of the time but you can't please ALL the people ALL the time. A big thankyou to jagex for a great weekend (considering the massive 1 mil xp for members over August and September was replacing this) you still gave us the dxp, even tho there were issues with lag, pizza and coke made it bearable lol. Look forward to the next one :P

Are Jagex trying to become another political party ?
What a joke of an apology..."some worlds experienced notable lag"...more correct would have been "some worlds didn't experience notable lag"..."meaning that some users had difficulty logging in or switching worlds", again as before.
Went through all members servers, didn't find any without lag. Lag got less with less people on the server, typically around 1000 users (this was usually when the northern hemisphere was asleep).
Very nicely politically put...try to make the public believe it really wasn't a big problem...read through the comments..."some of them" are actually nice...
And more to the point, even without double xp, "some of the Australian servers, sometimes don't have lag".
Go blow it out of where the sun doesn't shine !
Plus for those people that say Jagex couldn't have expected the turnout/traffic...the servers are supposed to be able to handle 2000 users each !
Most of the servers I went on had about 1400 people roughly (and consistently took up to half an hour to get onto)....lag lag lag lag lag lag lag...
Are you people that are praising Jagex for the weekend and then saying there was a lag issue really that thick ?
Please...no more botting/merching paradise double lag xp weekends...really spoils the constant lag from graphical and other updates, that takes a week or two to correct.
I can honestly say I have gotten more xp on a normal weekend. In fact I have gottem more xp since the weekend finished !
PS. And if there is a next time, leave it to the very last minute (instead of about two weeks beforehand) so the botters/merchers can really kill the economy. At least with the previous bonus xp weekends there was at least 3 months to prepare.

The only problem I came across was the servers failing to log me off. About 15 times it told me I had not finished try again in a few, even after supposedly logging me off for a world switch. It was frustrating but worth the bonus (+3 combat from summoning alone!)
