Love this idea!
Avoids a lot of confusion/spam when you guys are specific and clear about how to win these, but I noticed a slight issue between the thread and the newsletter.
In this thread, you forgot to mention that Ultimate Game Cards don't qualify, while you specifically mentioned it in the newsletter.

I have been a RuneScape re-subscribing member for the last 8 years.
Thank you for showing your appreciation of my 8 years of monetary dedication to this game by releasing an item to a select few people who still live in the stone age and go into the store to buy game cards.
Even though I am a member, just as the people who buy these cards will be, I am treated as a second class citizen, how about making the mask buy able with loyalty points? for all us long time members.
If not, then since I'm saving the environment by not going into the store and wasting petrol as well as throwing away a one time use plastic card into a landfill, how about lowering the price of reoccurring memberships?

Not often i message on forums, But this i am annoyed about. All the renewing members who pay by other means I.E paypal, credit/debit card etc don't get an option to get these items, Why? Jagex sort this out not all of us are able to go out yet alone go shopping for a gaming payment card, i feel this is discriminating against those of us who have a credit rating. Sad but true.

jagex really? i see alot of people are talking about recurring membership. Why should we have to go spend more money just to get an item that should be give to those who have recurring membership. I don't think most players want to help "these retailers" make a buck. Besides this isnt the first time recurring members have got f-- over what about flaming skulls? What has happened to the runescape i once loved?? :@

So, you don't get the mask if you purchased a 90 card with picture of a dragon torching the city? I saw the announcement and I went to both my local Target and Gamestop but only found the one with the dragon on the shelf. I asked the clerk if they had any red ones but she said they where all the same so I bought it. Does this mean I need to go purchase a red one now???
