The last few years though, I have been paying through game cards. It's still recurring membership. "Recurring" doesn't have anything to do with the method you choose to pay, it has to do with how long you have paid for membership without letting it lapse.
Reply: I don't think "people" think game cards are not considered recurring, I believe what the point is is that no matter if you purchase a game card or whether Jagex is guaranteed payment monthly when player uses a credit card, then WHY those who use credit card are not considered "worthy" of the Mask. I'm also a member of 2005 - 12 months x *5.00 x 7 years ..... So....if you're going to give a mask to those who buy card for *22 (I think that's the amount), then JAGEX why don't you allow members that pay with credit card pay for 4 months in advance and give them the Mask as well! Everyone happy =).

I like how none of the Jmods are replying anymore.
They obviously don't care about recurring membership players.
They are just sitting at their desks, sippin' their tea...laughing at us...
I've been to Gamestop and Wal-Mart...they don't even have the cards in my stupid town.

Want to just say that I think that people who pay to play already using debt/credit each month should also get these items. We pay monthly the same as the people who prefer buying the cards from wal-mart, ect. Just some food for thought, great game by the way.

One thing for all you people out there - If you have bought a membership card just before this great event, don't complain. At least you can have MORE membership AND a Scarecrow Mask. So don't complain anymore!

You can't loose your flaming skull. It is just to reclaim it from Diango. The thing is that it is not with the normal holiday items. You have to talk to him and ask what other things he have. Then you will se it and the mad may necklace if you got that too :)
