what a load of crap.
How many players use a credit card for their memberships... I do.
why would i buy a game card just for a mask? Easy I won't
I have never used game cards because they are a pain in the ass. My credit card is BETTER than a game card. It will never run out until I'm suck of jagex.

Ok, they get it, a small amount of their player base has these strong feelings towards vanity items and how they are made available to the players.
Stop repeating each other and let some legitimate feedback get through, like my question regarding the rumor that is going around about the Scarecrow Mask.

I like this mask its great, however, I was given the impression that being a long time subscriber, whos membership is paid each month would also have new and exciting benifits. The loyalty shop seems to be forgotten... is my commitment to the game, of 10+ years, not as important as a shop selling one more card?

For all those ppl who are complaining about not getting anything for being a member and paying by credit card every month...allow me to say this...does 1,000,000 free xp ring a bell? Or what about all the other goodies recieved for being a member the last 2 months? All those ppl complaining you dont get anything special....should really owe Jagex an appology because from what I've seen the last 2 months....it seems Jagex gave us plenty

Must the 90/100 day cards be red to get the scarecrow mask?
I went to my local Gamestop and all they had were the "original" purple cards.
The news post isn't clear. It says "Buy a 90/100 day card *OR* a new red card" and then goes on to say "red cards only".
As was mentioned before, I dislike that this item costs me *7.50 to acquire. I do it for fun and uniqueness all the same. Too bad Jagex no longer does loyalty pricing (bonus days on 90/100 day gamecards) for non-credit-card subscribers. That would cut down on the sting of the cards being comparatively overpriced.
I do like that Jagex has reintroduced pausing your credit card auto-renewal if you buy a gamecard. I was shocked when Billing told me a year ago that they didn't support it!

Yes and lose the benefit of the recurring membership, which means that we are paying for the item. You see if you continue on recurring membership your price is a certain amount, and by stopping that you are paying more, so the difference you pay is the price of the item (which is about $2 for some pixels). So the problem is you are selling items, and avoid this question like a politician. Jagex you talk about loyalty a whole bunch, so how about some loyalty to those who have continued to support the game for an extended period of time, and not try to nickel and dime us.
