This is good but useless when the hacker is sitting at ur home being your own brother who knows the answers to all questions listed in jag and we cant change the questions. Seriously. Make it so question can be edited to make our own questions

You may not like hearing about what competitors do, but for whenever I log into Blizzard's battle.net, I have to input an authenticator code that changes every 10 seconds or so. It's built into a mobile app or a physical authenticator. What can't you guys do that either? Or how about how some email companies send a code to a phone you have connected to the account every time you log in. It would literally make the chance of your account getting hacked to be zero, albeit your hacker somehow robs you of your phone. In that case you have more issues than your RS account getting hacked. Anyways it would even survive keyloggers and malware. If you guys could implement either of the two above, I would love you to death!!!!!!!!!!

This system seems very flawed at the moment. Some people may not want to use JAG, however the ONLY way to implement recovery questions is to use JAG. And what about those who set recoveries years ago? If you ask them the right questions, I'm sure they could answer them - however after 5 or 10 years people forget what questions they chose.
I would suggest no one use this system till they get it to work right, for all accounts. WAY too many people being locked out.

Three days after I activated the Guardian, I received email that another computer had attempted to access my account. Pretty obvious someone tried to hack me .. AGAIN. I lost 6 years of tradeable items the first day they brought free trade back.
Trust me, this is a VERY NICE safety feature. Thanks Jagex !! :) You can easily add devices and verify your authorization if you can access your email from that device . Once per device seems a small price to pay to avoid losing years of game time.

Along with this JAG update, I think there should be some form of armor locking, where you need to use your pin to take off a certain spot in your armor interface. So if you get ddosed and hijacked, witch is common, it would prevent the hijacker from taking anything off of your player.
I just think that would help a few players now and again. I hope you guys at least think about it! Thanks

this is a great security feature. one main flaw i can think of though is WHAT HAPPENS IF U LOSE YOUR EMAIL ACCOUNT for whatever reason or another. if you lose your email account then your gonna be paddling up poo creak without a paddle right ?
