I set up JAG for my account the second it was available. I think it's a wonderful feature, and it'll definitely help prevent hackers invading other member's work in-game. Thank you, Jagex :) !
P.S.: Just don't forget your security question answers lol :P ...

So what about if you are using a different computer its gonna send you a email that you are using a different device i deactivated the jagex gaurdian cause of that.
i was at my boyfriends and using his computer and my account guardian was activated at the time. But i couldn't log in to my account and it told me to change my pass but i just deactivated it cause its too much of a hassle if that is going to happen every time im gonna log in from a different laptop or computer.

You'll just need to set-up any additional computers/locations and grant them permanent access to the account to avoid these issues in the future. :)

"So, how does it work?" should be rewritten to "So, how do I use it?"...
Your "So, how does it work?" doesn't actually tell us how it works does it. I hope you are not relying on security through obscurity because we all know that this security model is flawed.
I don't expect a full blown explanation however something terse but salient on the lines of, "we are looking at your hardware and generating a ****" will suffice. I do not want to use this until I'm allayed that you are not doing anything dodgy behind the scenes on my machine.
Cheers, and nice feature...
edit: the censored text rhymes with mash. Damn Jagex and their context filters.

It's nice to have added security, but I don't really like the idea of having to answer a bunch of security questions every time I log in somewhere new. Is there a sort of two step authentication in the works? Examples seen in Gmail, Steam, Blizzard games, Facebook, etc. where you have a unique passcode sent to your phone or email that you must also enter in order to login or at register device.
