So you mean if I had waited another few hours before this update came out, I would have had 1800 spins? That sucks. Just blew 200 on 900 spins for my prayer level, and hp. I'm on YouTube - Search me at Littlejayberry . Or don't. Up to you.

Glad to see someone else had my idea as well (or possibly read my post since it was like a page before yours on the other thread

) and actually has time to run with it and publicize it. I'm just far too busy right now to deal with looking up all the needed information to see whether it's actually legal or not. Best of luck to you.
Thanks again to all the people who have been working hard on both this thread and the MMG news post thread to try and make IVP see sense. I shall be back tomorrow (providing IVP doesn't acquire a sudden desire to make me disappear from the forums before i get back) to continue trying to spread the word about what they are doing to our game.

It is a little sad that the first update they do after MMG's post... but whatever, it's only SoF, I don't think it'll ruin RuneScape.

How is this not gambling? If i had a lottery, with a cost of $5 per ticket, with a grand prize of $100, and everyone else won $.01-$1, would that be legal?
Sad for breaking IRL gambling laws, in my opinion.

Wow, nice timing. This is quite possibly the worst move you could have made after yesterday's epic soliloquy on how SoF wouldn't destroy the game.
SoF is a piece of doggy-doo anyway, I doubt anyone even buys spins.

Actually, it's not gambling.
Jagex has stated that since every spin on the Squeal wins an in-game item (even if only Cabbage or Fishing bait), and since there is no potential for real monetary return, the act of purchasing spins is not truly gambling.
And again, stop complaining about sof in such dramatic fashion. I hate to say this, but if there truly is such a large group of people against sof, then why don't you have a simple motto that you post instead of these huge rants? If an sof update comes out, silently protest with the motto. That way, I can sort through the complaints faster to important info. Like the fact that ppl are having issues getting their spins. good to know.
