hi, like my hood its a 10 year one, so i've been around a while. i remember when jagex use to take pride in their game. in our game. when mass updates were put out once a month, not this crap you folks are shovelling as cramming the game with an update every week.
as a long standing player i find it incredibly offensive that you have the gull to attempt to charge players $45-$50 for 250 bank spaces when we use to recieve an update that is as needed as this for free with our membership subscriptions. but how dare you blow smoke up my back side about solomans store being strictly cosmetic.
answer me this,
WHY ARE YOU SELLING IN GAME CONTENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
there is not a god damn thing cosmetic about that and dont even think of telling me it is, because we both know thats bull ****. i think thats whats caused alot of outrage with reguards to solomans going from cosmetics, to actual ingame advantages like tthe bank space.
and on another note. how dare you try to sell it too us and blow smoke up our backsides about it will be in the loyalty shop in the comming weeks, if you gave a damn about your loyal members like you claim you do.
WHY WAS THE BANK SPACE NOT OFFERED IN THE LOYALTY SHOP FIRST???
you have turned into a bunch of lying greed ****** as far as im concerned and your only interest in this game is using it as a cash cow to fund your side projects.

But it is true.. okay maybe JaGex has lied a few times but give it a rest we are the people who are making JaGex feel like ****.. now if we don't support them then they'll end up closing RuneScape and that's a road we don't want to take now if you don't want that to happen stop complaining like little children and start supporting them there's always another day and in that other day something good can happen as in JaGex listening to us and changing some **** even if they said ''We will not remove sof/sgs from Runescape'' it dosen't mean they'll keep that promise.
- If someone said JaGex I'll give you *1,000,000,000 to remove sof/sgs ofc they'll remove it it's not a ''promise'' that JaGex will keep.. in the future JaGex will change alot of things to our liking.. maybe they don't have the money yet to make our game RuneScape extrodinary so they're using us to pay for sof/sgs it's going to help us in the future and something as little as $3.00 wont hurt you.. so I don't know why you're complaining.
EDIT: I'm not telling you to pay for sof/sgs but I'm just stating a point but still if you want the game to develop go ahead. .
- The Sof/Sgs income is going into development of in-game updates such as fun and amazing content so don't keep on saying I hate JaGex because they dont give us in-game fun content.

Thanks for posting this - it's nice to know Jagex is still in touch. It's easy to forget that when you roll out unpopular updates.
I realize you do take a hit financially when you have anti-botting updates and I do respect your need to monetize the game so that you can keep it updated. I just hope that when you say you don't "plan" on making microtransactions necessary to be a competitive player, that that statement is a promise not subject to change.

The sad reality is, with bots on the rise, combined with higher membership fees and additional revenues from SOF/SGS I imagine the prevrious quaters revenues and profits are at their highest they've ever been, and will probably rise this quater too. To an investor, 1 bot = 1 player so why should they care... yesterday I looked to see if JaGex was a public company to gather information on stocks (prices) but sadly it's private.
However I too would be willing to form a consortium aiming to secure the rights to develop and sell access to an old "version" of RS as I genuinely believe it'd be highly profitable and beneficial to the community. It's actually madness that jagex don't for a few reasons:
1. It'd be an instant cash boost
2. It'd benefit the community who they apparently care about
3. The long term impact on jagex's membership numbers would be minimal - this old, static version of the game would attract far less new members than the current game due to marketing and the perceived image of the two games.
4. With less people playing it'd lower their operating costs (cut down on servers, which I imagine are quite expensive)
