Ok, first the positives,
Bot/gold farmer reduction. I am glad this is finally happening. Out of all the things going on in rs such as Sof/Solomons shop, I hate the bots and whatnot worse than both of them combined. They literally DRIVE ME CRAZY. Bots ruin the economy in runescape, ruined a personal favorite of mine in fishing/cooking and get very annoying when trying to skill hunter,cooking,fming, and well.. pretty much every skill lol.
2nd, the security updates. This, I think is a GREAT UPDATE. There have been TONS of hacking and whatnot in runescape since wildy came back really.. and obviously Jagex current security wasn't working well enough. I'm really looking foreward to see how you are going to improve it :) THANK YOU for this.
Now the Negatives.

Ok, you do also know that selling gp and xp in the SoF has probably risen your revenue up a good amount. It may not be DIRECT buying but ur almost guarenteed to get a lamp in your daily spins, so if you buy 100 spins, your more than likely to get at least 50 or more lamps. WHICH IS ALOT OF XP. And that is not including the gp you can get. Indirectly selling gold and leaving it to chance is just as bad as selling it directly because now you leave it up to chance and ppl get addicted so they keep coming bk and bk til they get as much as they want. Its like playing the lottery.

Also referring to the above quote, that you value yours and our game,feedback and are trying to improve things. Well if that were true, you would of gotten rid of the buyable spins OR got rid of the xp/gp in the spins.
Most of us on rs are ok with Cosmetic items being bought. No harm no foul, but having a chance of buying 200mil??? getting a ton of xp buy buying spins.. that is still the big problem.. We'd all be ok with little items in there.. items that are helpful.. or the for fun items like the summer items we had and whatnot. Snowballs, blah blah. Just get rid of things that aren't cosmetic.
Thank you tho for posting this Mods, I do appreciate it. Great job with bot nuke type thing coming up and security issues. Please take the gp/xp out of spins. Please

I am glad you guys are being more open about this but this isn't even half of the work that needs to be done. Let's face it you guys don't need the money, you guys already make multiple times more money than you need to pay your employees and all your expenses, you're just doing this for those stupid American investors who are buying you out. The reason why you don't sell RSGP is because you know that that's the last straw,where everyone will quit, if you really want to see the community improve and if you are truly concerned and passionate about the community/game you'd have removed the stupid wheelby now. You still have a lot of work to do :|

MMG's statement should have been made sooner, but at least something was said eventually.
I don't play other games on-line or console, but I do read gaming trade-blogs and news, and understand that games need to be monetized at some point, and to varying degrees. As long as Jagex keeps making the effort to maintain a balance of MT's and fairness to loyal customers, I'll be content to stick with this game.
As far as someone being to buy levels or gp through the SOF, well, so what? Someone in this game is ALWAYS going to be a higher level, or have more gp than we do. Because they've played longer, or smarter, or harder. I play for fun, have for nearly 7 years, and worrying about what someone else is doing with their avatar isn't the point, with the exception of macro use. Players who cheat their way to levels need to be banned, and that's going to maintain game integrity.
We all benefit if Jagex is a successful company, and so far the microtransactions seem to have little impact on the game. It's a change, but most games have them, so we should learn to deal with it.
Now, if the Transformers release interferes with Runescape's gameplay, then I will be angry.
Also, can't wait to be able to play RS on my Nex7- hurry up!!

The only thing positive I can say is prove it.
As you pointed out yourself, many updates have been unpopular. Not to mention the biweekly SGS that are highly criticized. If you take begin taking action as you have stated in future game updates to make them as consistant (SOF and SGS dont count and if anyone thinks they do, that person is very wrong) as they once were.
Please prove to us that you mean what you say. That is all we can ask for.
Also a suggestion about stopping criticism on the EoC. Keep a few servers on the combat system being used now similar to how you kept rs classic available. Even though it doesnt advance the game, it keeps the players that play RS for its combat system interested. Make it member only if you want. Just keep it in some way.

But it is true.. okay maybe JaGex has lied a few times but give it a rest we are the people who are making JaGex feel like ****.. now if we don't support them then they'll end up closing RuneScape and that's a road we don't want to take now if you don't want that to happen stop complaining like little children and start supporting them there's always another day and in that other day something good can happen as in JaGex listening to us and changing some **** even if they said ''We will not remove sof/sgs from Runescape'' it dosen't mean they'll keep that promise.
- If someone said JaGex I'll give you *1,000,000,000 to remove sof/sgs ofc they'll remove it it's not a ''promise'' that JaGex will keep.. in the future JaGex will change alot of things to our liking.. maybe they don't have the money yet to make our game RuneScape extrodinary so they're using us to pay for sof/sgs it's going to help us in the future and something as little as $3.00 wont hurt you.. so I don't know why you're complaining.
EDIT: I'm not telling you to pay for sof/sgs but I'm just stating a point but still if you want the game to develop go ahead. .

Frankly, I don't accept promises. I don't care what kind of technical and graphical improvements you have lined up. Those do NOT excite me or buy you any stock with me. All I care about is content, and we've been seeing none of it. Until that changes, and likely for a while after that (I'm not going to be satisfied after the last few crappy months by a big update or two and then a return to crap), you, as a company, don't have my faith. You may have my feedback and my $5 subscription (after all, I do love playing this game), but my faith is far from restored.
Also, I will ALWAYS disagree with the SoF. Yes, I see the theoretical benefits of it (not that I've actually received any of them yet), but I disagree with selling advancement in this game through whatever form, direct or indirect.
As to your bot stuff..Meh. Sorry, but this is something I'll never trust you guys on. You said you could handle the bots when you called for the referendum. You were wrong. You tried to knock them out. You couldn't, and they came back and roamed around unpunished. Hell, you've even tried to knock out spammers before. That didn't work either.
I'll finish on a positive note. I thank you for not pushing promotional stuff in this post (although the post below it was reserved entirely for that). I thank you for not downplaying or dismissing player concerns, though you didn't exactly address them, either. And I thank you for finally posting something, although it's not much and very, very, VERY late.
